Dwarves can't seem to find raw materials
« on: May 21, 2007, 05:13:00 pm »

I jsut started up a new game. Got a stockpile full of logs, tons of stone lying around, both in and out of stockpile...

And my carpter and mason are both cancelling EVERY work assignment as they seem to think there's no stone/logs around.

Thus, no beds, barrels, bins, well, doors or anything else at all. haven't seen if this applies to anyone else or just those two proffessions.

Is the workshop accessible?

They are in their respective workshops, and I don't see anything that could block them from getting to the materials in question.

This is a brand new game, so there's really not a lot going on so far.

Also, there's stone right in the doorway of the mason workshop itself....

It's possible that they built the workshops around themselves and trapped themselves inside.  Check the workshop footprints on the wiki to make sure that the passable (light green) squares of one are not jammed up against walls or other workshops.

The intruder arose, casting off its black cloak.  "Behold, stunted jesters!  It is I, Scuro!"  A jagged scar marked the goblin's face from eye to chin, his greasy mane gray and wild, and about his neck was the broken silver amulet, strapped together by a leather band.
