Not sure if this is the best spot for this topic. but I was playing Dragon Tavern today. and stumbled across this in the "abyssal mine" area:

Alright, this is humiliating. And just when you thought it couldn't get worse, you are placed on display in a dining hall. Whichever sick mind thought of this, they must have been taken by a strange mood.

Heh there are many, the topic has been brought up a few times already but s'all good in my opinion.

There's at least 2 in World of Warcraft, A quest involving getting schematics for a dwarven fortress from a dwarf by the last name of 'Boatmurder' named Dwarf Fortress.   And a pair of dwarves in a flooded zone (thousand needles I think, but it's alliance side and I don't have any allies to be sure) talking about how the flood is nothing compared to the floods they had in Ironforge, mentioning one dwarf building a floodgate from the wrong side, digging into the dining room and them finding carp under the furniture for weeks.

There's also apperantly a debatable one in Starcraft 2.  But I never played that.   I got my ass handed to me enough on Starcraft 1 multiplayer thanks...

Well, the guy that is the possible shout-out is a short hairy man that lives in the 12th bay, so I guess it probably is a DF one

Yea  I saw a few screenshots and a description and it sounds like it is, but it started an argument in the thread I first heard about it in, so I figured I'd list it as debatable to cover.

In Super Scribblenauts, typing in "Urist" spawns a dorf. The dorf is scared of unicorns, elephants and carp and will attack elves.

I think the Starcraft mention is more a reference towards an Aliens quote:

ahhh I never noticed that detail in aliens.... it makes sense, as there are numerous referenses to aliens in sc1, the most clear of them being the terran drop ship dialog taken line by line from the one in the movie,.

Anyways, a character with a strong dwarven likeness on a bay Nº12 is suspicious
