OOC:
I love returning to a boatload of new posts. Give me a bit and I'll make all necessary rolls and reply as needed through an edit to this post.
I'm afraid I won't be around much today. I have a party to go to.
Filius, you set this year's upkeep aside last year. So you're good for now.

6) It takes some days for Corv's scouts to return. And when they do, they appear to be more afraid of you than of the enemy. The Taggarts have a single regiment and no defenses, though they're likely to have another regiment very soon. Their morale, however, is incredibly high. To find all this out, your scouts needed to pretend to defect. Needless to say, the Taggarts will be ready for your next attack.

4+1) With the knowledge that the town is run by the Clergy, people flock from Elbreth to help you settle, all under the notion that by doing so they help to ensure that their next life is better than this one. Your town provides 1 Ducat/year on top of the 1 Ducat given by the parcel of land it is built on. You also have a parcel left with which to develop.
The King was tired. Exhausted, even. He had spent the night before listening to the sobbing hysterics of his second cousin, accusing his General of some horrible crime. Already tired from his travels, the King had convinced her to wait till noon of the next day, where she would make her accusations in court before the eyes of God and men. She had insisted that Lord Trubaldsome be at her side when the accusation was made, and while Erik had allowed he couldn't help but wonder how the brother of Miring's King had gotten involved in such a mess. Regardless, Erika's moment in the spotlight was not something he was looking forward to.
The self-proclaimed sorcerer could not have caught him at a worse time.
Nevertheless, a bemused smile flickered across his face.
"You understand," the King began, eyes locked with that of the mage's,
"that I am more than a little skeptical of your claims. For every sorcerer and magician I have ever encountered has been a simple alchemist, or else little more than a thief. What proof have you of your...art?"That noon...The King's Steward gently ushered a feeble and quaking Erika into the room. Immediately, the King snapped awake and sat up in his seat. With a frown in Trubaldsome's direction as the noble moved to the center of the room, Erik looked to his cousin. In as soothing a tone as he could muster, the King spoke,
"You are safe here, Erika. Tell me what happened."A Day Later..."Lord yl Marchis, I hope you are well." the King affected an amiable tone as Lord Aulon was admitted to the audience chamber.
"You wished for an audience with me?"A Day or So After That...Sir Taric and his regiment have returned to Elbreth's Capital. They are given quarters as befits a Lord and Knight and his men.
Later That Day...Drua and her regiment returned. Wasting no time at all, Erik's steward ushers her into the audience chamber so that she might report her findings.
About Two Weeks After the King's ReturnThe King was celebrating a rare moment of reprieve from the constant legal quarrels which the peasantry frequently brought before him when Terenos entered the Audience Chamber, ushered in by the Steward through a side door. Erik blinked, and then smiled,
"I am glad to see that you have returned, Terenos! I was on the verge of sending soldiers into the three kingdoms searching for you! What news do you bring?"
