Trubaldsome stares at the recently-deceased body of Feodair in wide-eyed shock for a moment, then swiftly steps backwards to keep his boots free from the pooling blood. This action snaps him back to reality, and he turns towards Erika, letting his blade fall to the floor. "Erika! My lady, you must fly! Where there is one, there will be more, and I cannot fight all of them!" He grabs her by the shoulders and drags her, as gently as possible, over to the door between his room and the servant's.
He bundles her through it, hissing as he does: "You must get out of here. Go to ground, where I do not know, just keep hidden!" He shook her by the shoulders, staring into her eyes, "It is unlikely I will survive, but whatever happens, you must be prepared to testify. As soon as I can... If I can, I shall send men for you."
With that he shoves her out into the coridoor, glancing quickly left and right.
He does not see anyone yet coming to investigate the commotion, but he can hear shouts from other parts of the castle, and so rushes back into his room, slamming the door behind him.
Pausing to gather up his precious snuff box, relieved to see it still bearing his contents, he takes a quick sniff before beginning the unenviable task of dragging Feodair's bloody form across the room, towards the fireplace.
Made harder by both Trubaldsome being unused to such strenous work, and his wretched attempts to keep blood from getting on his clothes, the task takes a while, but he attempts to drag the dead man across the room and let him fall face-first in the fire, thus making him unrecognizable.
((Yes, I realise Trubaldsome is acting seriously evil... But it's for a good cause! D: ))
Once that's done, if no-one has yet barged into the room, Trubaldsome will place a sword by the dead man's hand and then, being rather filthy, his clothes smeared and spattered with blood, will run some hot water for his bath tub.
Er, if the castle doesn't have plumbing, he will simply use the cold bathwater from earlier, take a quick wash, then change into his backup outfit: A two-piece suit of fine cloth jerkin and breeches, each light brown with thin blue stripes and trim, covered with a thin gown of blue velvet. His felt boots, being ruined by blood, are swiftly replaced by an ill-fitting, rarely-worn pair of shabby leather boots from beneath the bed.
So, in summary: Trubaldsome shoves Erika out the door with much drama, shouting that if he dies, she must testify to avenge him, then ducks back in and attempts to QUICKLY drag the dead body across to the fire and dump him half inside, to make him unrecognizable. (( :/ )) Then, he places a spare sword of Waery's by the body's hand, and has a bath and gets changed out of his bloody clothes.
