Secure my current holdings as best I can without harming my men, or losing any funds.

Shadow Circle:  You receive 1 Ducat's worth of stolen farming supplies from the Ztah raiders, along with an offer of alliance.  You secure your holdings by just stationing your men in the camp.

Ztah Raiders:  You recruit both clans of raiders.

[1]  Brighthall moves 1 regiment of infantry into Brightwatch, expanding the force there to two regiments.

I'm strongly tempted to enable the King of Brighthall as a position, just to deal with these threats, but it's better if I keep control for now.  On the bright side (no pun intended), we are getting about as much rebellion and insurrection as I expected at the start of the game.

I choose to disregard your third roll as you intended it because the first roll accounted for your attempts at stealth/hit and run raiding anyway.  Be aware that you are taking increasingly greater penalties to stealth attempts because Brighthall is extremely aware of your presence.

I will take the 6 as being the roll for the ensuing battle, however, giving you a result of 7.  The Brighthall defenders in Silverbranch roll [2+1].  Both sides are wiped out in the ensuing conflict, but you are indeed able to make off with the 3 Ducats you raided.  Silverbranch is now running out of places you can raid.

[3] 3 new regiments arrive in Brightwatch.  The 2 existing regiments march on your position in the Ztah Steppe, engaging the sole remaining regiment you have there.

Brighthall Soldiers:  Roll 8 (6 + 2 for unit strength).  Feel free to try and counter that roll.

[3] If you fail, all your remaining troops are wiped out and the soldiers will take 3 Ducats of loot back with them from your treasury.  In that situation, the Brighthall troops will lose 1 regiment.  On a draw, both sides will simply lose one regiment.  Should you somehow win, you will still lose all your troops but the Brighthall force will be wiped out as well.

NoahTophatz, no offense, but this is the second thread where you've taken ideas from.  I'm sure it isn't illegal or anything, I just wanna know why exactly you make threads like this.  Once again, I mean no offense, I'm just trying to find out something.

NoahTophatz? You mean Iituem, he started this thread. Jeez, it's not that hard to check.

I didn't make this thread
Iituem my raiders are hard to find as they don't just live in one location you need to roll for finding the nomads and for not attracting other nomad groups that are all over the steppe
from now one if raiders lose they don't destroy the other army but they are hard to attack as they are hard to find unless you say otherwise

Hikari sat investigating the supplies sent to us by the Ztah raiders, and as he finishes he turns to Henry, and Kingsley saying " I want you to go there, adn offer their leader my regards offer them an alliance, but tell them that we wish for the kingdom of Elbreth to be ours, adn that he can have any of the other lands surronding, but Eelspire. Now go, adn do so quickly." After that he used the food as a way to help improve his lands.

Use the funds recieved from Ztah to improve our lands so that we make more money.

No, I don't.  GM ruling, because if I put that in every single person who is involved in a combat will then want to have hide/detect rolls that will stretch things out to the point where they become decidedly un-fun for all involved.

Iituem no offense, but this is this counts as copying my thread.  I mean no offense, but I have to know why exactly you did this.

Quote from: Reposted from You are Lord
As for why I did a "You are King", I enjoyed the unstructured form of the earlier 'You are Lord' and since you were now adding structure felt that it might be enjoyable to start a thread based on that style (though whether I succeeded at that is now highly questionable).  I certainly did not mean to offend, but it is worth remembering you don't own ideas - you own executions of ideas.  I assessed that the execution of 'You are Lord' that had developed was enough of a community effort that there would be little offense in borrowing elements of the structure that had grown.

Perhaps I should have asked you directly if it would be alright to copy the concept of 'the first person to reply is the King/Lord', and indeed that would have been more polite.  However, the game elements beyond that that I have used owe more to Dwarmin and the players who developed it spontaneously.  These elements were what I sought to recapture.

Hikari:  [2+1-1]  Your effort to improve your lands, though greatly aided by the fertiliser provided by your new allies, is thwarted by bad luck and ill weather.  Sometimes luck just goes against you.

Ztah Envoy:  Unfortunately, this spells the end for your clan's raiding activities, at least this year.  You can put this down as a learning experience, in large part owing to pressing too heavily a large and powerful state and forcing it into action.  You will not be able to recruit a new personal guard until the next game year.

For reasons of fairness, the game year will not pass until the King has taken more actions.
