OOC:
Normally I would be staying up till 4 in the morning here, and so I'd be able to regularly post and keep things moving. However, my first semester of college ever starts in a month and so I'm trying to get back into a sleep schedule which most people would call "normal" and which I would simply refer to as "diurnal." This doesn't exactly work well, because I still sleep in till sometime past twelve in the afternoon...but at least I'm not waking up at 6pm anymore.
On top of that, I just have not been home much this week. The past few days I've been out with family, and, save for a day in between, the days before that I've been out with friends. So that's why my posting has been rather infrequent. (I should point out that since its summer and I no longer have a job, time is pretty much nonexistent for me. The week I just described could very well have been stretched out over all of July.)
As for our apparently ignoring people, I think I pretty frequently add an OOC message to my posts letting you all know that if I missed you you should let me know. That's the case with Iituem, too. In fact, it's pretty much always the case and it never won't be the case. So you should always just assume that said OOC message is in every single post we make even when it isn't.
Micelus: Locanil's meeting likely takes place before the war meeting. It can take place after, too...it really doesn't matter.
Kaguro/Yoink: I have been trying to make things a little less confusing through the use italics and parentheses in my posts. If you guys have any suggestions on how I can help with that, I'd be happy to hear it.
In any case, Terenos hit the nail on the head.
You should also know (everyone involved in the war should know this) that you can make a simple post stating that you contacted the King's steward to let him know that you intend to raise x amount of regiments, where x is, obviously, capped by however many regiments your owned land actually allows you to raise. You will be reimbursed x ducats from the royal treasury. I imagine a clever player would be able to come up with a way to embezzle funds through this, since at the moment the crown isn't actually conducting checks to see if you're leading the right number of troops.
Weasel: I was kind of hoping that Kaguro would have brought you back to the dungeons by now or something. Either way, it's pretty safe to say that your month in captivity is up...so you're free to go wherever you please. I said that Mahtan would only be brought to audience with the King if he could be found, so if he remains locked in the barracks for some reason or decides to skip town then that's fine too.
Anyways, I'm going to assume the King doesn't know about this spy business until after someone's reported on it.
Also, I'm holding off on Jormundur's post because I don't know the exact details of what's playing out there.
In the Weyland Highlands...
(Corv 5) Donald grimaced at the end of your speech, and then raised a hand to scratch behind his ear. In a gruff, decidedly low-land dialect, he began his reply.
"We don't need t'war against yer clan because we're not th'ones yer slavin' and wearin'. An' we don't need t'be 'fraid of you. If those Taggart fellas gave you trouble, then one McMurray is good enough t'drive off the lot of you." He turns his head to the side and spits, and then looks back to you, "Ye've shown that yer bright, though, even if yer not too tough. We can respect that. Y'called us here fer a reason, Manskinner. Out with it."
In the Castle at Night...
(Silas 3) You quickly dive into the incredibly cramped space under the bed and wiggle in as far as you can go. The door swings open, and the sound of someone drunkenly stumbling into the room can be heard. A moment later, the door swings shut and whoever just entered shuffles around picking up the clothing they've left laying on the floor whilst muttering incoherently.
During Locanil's Meeting...
The King nodded quietly, and then motioned towards the door. "You may go...and know that I would like a map with a trade route to Korlan delivered to my Steward within the year."
The King then sat back on his throne, and lapsed into deep thought.
Nearing the End of the War Meeting...
The King listened to Amaryllis' message, and then considered it for a long moment before replying. "Your Lord's plan is solid, however we are pressed for time and building such a wall could take years or more. We must push onward with our current course."
