((All I need is time.))
"My death is an inconvenience that could be avoided. Let me ramble for a few moments.
I did not act alone, my men would not see my death as an accident. More deaths equals a larger explanation of what occurred. More chances for things to go..Less smoothly. Not to mention I sent runners to my King, so he is well aware of what is transpiring here. My death? Will look suspicious. Now if I survive, I am sure I could talk my King out of any actions that would not be profitable for all parties involved.
There are things I seek, and I was endeavoring to use this notebook to acquire some of those ends. You're clearly a man who wants to be on the right side of things. So why not make that side slightly larger by including Elbreth in your deals, at least to an extent?"

When the week was up, the King did not make another speech. Throughout the day, he could be seen quietly moving throughout the camp conversing with his men, sharing a joke here, a word of encouragement there. It was only as twilight fell upon the mountain that he disappeared into his tent, emerging less than an hour later in plate armor, shield and longsword in hand. His soldiers stood at the read, lining up against the trench at all sides as they waited for the moment to charge. The King calmly took his place beside them in silent vigil, and the attack began.

Kain and his regiment, as per the plan, began by throwing cannisters of alcohol at the wall and over it. Torch-bearers soon followed. As the flames leaped into the sky, war horns sounded from each cardinal direction their notes echoing off the mountains and mingling with the crackle of flames. Accompanied by Grand Master Black and Sir Taric, Erik and the remaining regiments then charged through the trenches to join the fray.

Hikari stood behind the gates with Jorm at his side turning to face him he says "I ask of you one last request before I inevitably die here. During this battle I ask you tak twenty of my men, and flee to the steppe their find those who aided us, and assist them intaking over the steppe in return for some land then use that to take over Elbreth. Now this is goodbye my friend may we meet in the next life." with that Hikari turned drew his sword, and walked to the front of the ranks. Turning to his men he said "When these walls fall, and the enemy crashes forward do not show fear, nor mercy for they have decided to wage a war on a free people we will show them that we are not weak for everyone one of you there are four of them, but you are worth twice that do not falter, and do not give up hope. Our cause is just, adn we must make them see that even if it costs us our lives. Today I will fight with you my friends, and today if I must I will die with all of you, so lets show them the stregth our people hold !!!!!!!!!" with that Hikari turned drawing his sword,a dn letting his arms hang to the side, as he put the mask of a demon on, for in his family who originated far to the east all of the great warriors had doned this mask, adn went into battle for the people.

Hold off the enemy forces for as long as possibel stand our ground, adn use our defensive bonuses.

((Well Sir King, I have this feeling several players are going to die. Myself included. Masterwork silver tongue don't fail me now!
Battle should be interesting. But I imagine at least two of you will suffer wounds, and possibly die to protect the king. I, am likely dead unless by some gods be damned miracle the chamberlain ISN'T working against me. Should be good for a laugh though.))

[1]  About half-way through your speech, the Count cottons on to what's happening.  "Guards, fan out!"  He lunges at you with his sword.  [6]  You draw up your own sword in a spectacular parry and perform a riposte, drawing a large slash across the Count's cheek.  He is now strengthened by rage.  [2]  Two of the count's men draw their blades and face the door whilst the third comes at you as well.  Perhaps too late, you hear footsteps running in approach.  [5]  Fortunate for you that your own men are fast runners, and spirited at that.  The door slams open as two of your men kick a door each, the third stabbing straight through with his own longsword and taking out one of the Count's men.

[5]  Both the Count and his bodyguard assault you, but you expertly parry both attacks and manage a grazing slash upon the Count's thigh.  [3]  He swings his longsword in a mighty arc and you only barely step out of the way of the swathe of steel... [5] ducking and rolling as the bodyguard tries to flank you.  You end up directly behind him, [4] spring to your feet and stab him through the chest.  [6]  The Count, seeing that the tables have turned on him, flees through the nearby open window.  You hear a faint scream, a crunch, and then a mob of voices screaming "Murderers!".  [2]  Your own men, distracted, are unable to prevent the last of the Count's men barging past them and running into the hallway shouting "An Elbrethan assassin has killed Count Castor!"

Pre-Battle Forays

[4+3]  Flames spread through the town and soon enough nearly all of it is on fire.  The walls are completely impossible to man, but will likely not survive the combat.  (Walls destroyed.)  [5]  Fortunately for the rebels, the defenders' preparations still allow them to maintain a strong enough defence to pull back to the secure positions, forcing the King's army to try and locate them amidst a blazing town.  [4-2]  The extreme fire does not cause permanent casualties, but due to the chaos of the flames and panich one of the royal army regiments is separated from the rest and does not take place in the ensuing battle.

Battle for Hikari's Camp

Rebels:  [4+2+2 = 8]
King's Men:  [2+7 = 9]

The battle is close.  Very close.  Had the walls not been taken out at great expense, the rebels might well have fought to a draw.  Sadly the king's men are able to surround the rebel armoury where they make their stand and slaughter or capture nearly all the defenders at the cost of one regiment's worth of wounded.  [5]  Some of the leaders on the King's side will have a scar or two, but none are seriously wounded or captured.  [4]  Jorm and some ten soldiers are able to escape through the burning wreckage of the town and flee to safety, but Hikari himself is captured and brought to the King as prisoner.

The King calmly strides through the burning wreckage of the village, bloody longsword in hand. His helm had come off at some point in the fighting, and a long, thin cut had appeared on his cheek beneath the soot and ashes. Blood and grime covered his breastplate, and his shield was so torn and dented that his coat of arms was no longer visible. It was clear that he had endeavored to be in the thick of the fighting.

Standing in the center of the village, so that all could see, the King slowly swept his gaze over the crowd of survivors and the piles of the dead. His soldiers took the rebel leader, who had naturally been bound and gagged upon defeat, and brought him before the King.

Personally led into the thick of the fighting by the King himself, one of the royal regiments has been greatly reduced in number to the point that it is no longer in fighting shape.

(2) Hikari attempts to make a break for it at the end of the battle, leaving his surviving men to their fate. However to one side is flaming wreckage, and to the other is the entirety of the royal army. He is unable to get away.

Sir Taric is granted the use of a regiment to give chase to Sir Jormund and the other fleeing rebels. (I'll let Iituem make that roll)

Use knowledge of the local area to flee into the mountains and lose any possible trackers if they even know we've escaped.

OOC: According to Iituem's post, the King lost one regiment. You will be executed, but I'm waiting for others who took part in the battle to post before I do so. Feel free to roleplay your final moments, and you're always welcome to start up a new character after this one of course.
I would never put you in the dungeons, it's pretty much been established that you're better off confining someone in an unlocked room than you are actually putting them in dungeons of any kind :P
