Trubalsome turns a lovely, surprising shade of crimson, with a few blotches of purple across his face. As he trembles with impotent rage, the many extravagant feathers in his hat begin to shake also, one of his ice-blue eyes begins to twitch spasmodically, and one hand clenches in a white-knuckle grip about his horses reins as the other creases the handkerchief held within it. His men mill about uneasily behind him, watching the bowmen.
Finally, just when it seems he must be about to pop or emit steam from his ears, his head whips around and he gives a harsh shout: "Waery!! Release these scum-licking prisoners!!"
As Waery signals to a couple of the men, who quickly unchain the few prisoners gathered so far and kick them to the side, Trubalsome turns back to Kaguro, his teeth clenched and eyes blazing with anger. He raises one finger, bearing a silver ring set with rubies, to point menacingly towards Kaguro.
"The king shall here of this, you traitorous scum! I'll have you flayed alive! Oh yes, you shall see!"
Still seething, he turns his horse and kicks it viciously in the flanks, leading his men back towards the castle, and his quarters.

Kaguro calls down one of his captains and tells him to watch Lord Trubaldsome before going to help the people who had been chained up. He would deal with this problem later. He also sent a runner to the king to inform him of the situation, and sent exact details of the event and how he handled it.

Hikari stood on the platform above the wooden gate of his town as a runner went to the enemies camp this man would be coming to ask for an meeting between his lord, and the King of Elbreth.

Out today for a shoot, but just taking care of this quickly:  [1]  Trubaldsome, your attempt was so unsuccessful that not only is Draven's runner aware that someone tried to assassinate him, but he caught sight of their insignia.  He will carry this information along to the king with his message.

Morning was slowly encroaching as the last of the slaves had been collared and driven away. The pile of corpses was reaching up to his head and was left to rot as a warning for future enemies.

Reg approached his Chief. Oi ser, the ambush was a success although we lost many of our men...

Corv stared at a burntdown hovel for a moment.

Give a slave to every soldier who has distinguished himself.

Regs eyes lit up.
You,you mean those belong to us now?

Yes what did you think? While your at it scour our lands for new troops. And and to those distinguished, i want them in my personal guard, sent to each of them the flayed skin of a dead enemy, they shall cover their shields with it.

Recruit a new Personal Guard and  another Infantry regiment both especially trained in Night attacks,Ambushes and Terrorizing of enemies.

OOC: Sorry, went out last night and got back far later than I thought I would. King Weasel, I know I need to respond to you with a GMish post. Ghazkull, same. And...Terenos, I think? Is there anyone else waiting for a response?
King-related posts will come after this one.

(3) You actively work to make the houses of the villagers more structurally sound as you help to repair them. As you do this, you teach some villagers some math-related tricks that they otherwise wouldn't have known about, and needless to say it warms them up to you a little. But not much, there's still a lot of wariness in regards to alchemy, magic, and the lot.

(No Roll) Terenos and his men move back to Elbreth lands, and then after moving some ways away from the border they begin to make their way towards Miring. Needless to say, this will make them a little bit late but it shouldn't matter much.

Corv currently only has control over enough land and ducats to hire one infantry regiment per the recruitment rules. Since I'm unsure as to whether or not special training should cost ducat/have a combat effect/what kind of combat effect it should have I'll leave that part up to Iituem.

((I would imagine that corv's troops would be good at ambushing, but would pale in comparison to an actual equipped army, so like +1 to raids *whether there raiding or the land there in is being raided*, and -1 to anything else))

Spoiler: Corv's Lands (click to show/hide)

You can only recruit a regular infantry regiment this year, as you have already expended your personal guard.  If you want, I'll rule for the future that Ambush-trained troops have a str of 1, cost 2 ducats per regiment to train and upkeep, but will provide a +1 terrain modifier to combat when attacking or defending with only Ambush-type troops, except when attacking armies behind static defences such as walls and keeps.  To clarify that, a terrain modifier is the same bonus defenders get in very hilly, mountainous or heavily forested terrain and so does not stack with those defensive bonuses.  Ambush troops can get the bonus when attacking, though, but can only use combat troops.

Also ruling from now on that Weyland Province has a native +1 terrain bonus to defense because of its rugged terrain (more rugged than that of Elbreth).

Back from the shoot.  Very tired.  May or may not respond to this thread tonight.  Leaving this in Thatkid's capable hands for now.
