This is a cat leather thong. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It menaces with spikes of steel and is studded with diamond. On the item, there is an image of a bear and a child. The bear is performing a depraved act on the child. The child is screaming.

That actually is possible on DF, right?

If the kid's possessed, you're better off thinking he's actually possessed by some entity or deity or what have you. Skills don't matter; the kid's just being forced into making whatever needs be made, and not even with any skills.

Judging by how they go "[artifact name] needs [material]" when they're possessed, you're almost certainly best off assuming that they're possessed by the spirit of the artifact they're making.

I mean it is starting to be common for children to start to wear sexualised clothing and be considered appropriate at the same time.

Though it is a very interesting situation that you could write a book on. Since it isn't that parents are suddenly fine with these thing.

As for Dwarves they don't seem to have any sort of sexualised or gender specific clothing

Call me cruel if you like, but no possessed children are permitted to complete artifacts in my forts.  Complete waste of an artifact - guaranteed to be something useless, and the kid doesn't even get any smarter from it. 

Berserk children are also entertaining.
