I've never been in mylo before, but I figured it was just as important to claim in mylo as it would be in lylo. Meh. Guess I misunderstood the theory.

No Lynch.

Well, unless there's only one scum, this is mylo. Should we all claim?
So you want us to role-claim, while suggesting there could be only one scum.  Which there is not.  Sounds fishy to me.

Yeah, let's shorten.
Then you jump on the suggestion of a shorten?  A no-lynch is rather wasted if we shorten and don't learn anything.  Sounds like a scummy move to me, explain why you thought a shorten would be helpful with a no-lynch.

Oppose day shortening thingy.

As suspicious as Think looks for agreeing with the shortening, it was Otto that suggested it to begin with.

Jeez, I just can't get anything right. Unshorten, I guess.

Kilakan: I wasn't suggesting there was only one scum, I was saying that as a sort of 'unless (really unlikely situation), we're fucked' statement. The MC bit I already mentioned as a factual misunderstanding: I thought since people claim at lylo, people would also claim at mylo. The shorten was because I've never been in mylo, and the way Ottofar said that suggested to me that shortening was the accepted thing to do. Guess not.

Bd: Now that your top choice has been lynched, who do you suspect?

Darvi: What's your current scumlist looking like?

Otto: Why?

Because we're no lynching, and no one said anything noteworthy, except voting for Nolynching.

So would you consider you thinking that 'unless this is THIS, then we may be THIS' does not count as a weak WIFOM.  It really seems so to me especially since there has been nothing so far to even hint at the possibility of only 1 scum.  Now to reiterate my earlier question, how would claiming even remotely help the town unless someone can finger a scum?  Otherwise it seems utterly pointless in this game type, except to let the scum know who they could best succeed at night killing.

Yes, I would consider it not WIFOM, because it's not speculating 'but what if that's what they WANT me to think' in the slightest. It was a statement of fact: 'unless there is only 1 scum, this is mylo.' True. 'There isn't one scum.' True. 'This is mylo.' The statement I was trying to make with that. I thought claiming would help under the same justification that claiming helps in lylo, it provides more information to the town since there will be no nights coming up if they're wrong. It plum didn't occur to me that we could just no-lynch.
