1: If Jim passes my townie test, I am damn well justified in thinking he is a bloody townie, for the time being anyway. A soft townie, if you will.
2: People don't like the idea that I can think somebody is a soft townie.
3: If you even try to out any information you have, you will get lynched for it.
4: Even townies sometimes slip and say scum when they mean town (Well I didn't learn this, I already knew this, but it is important!)

Ok, I will address the most obvious point first, that is that somebody can pay attention to both. The actions are not mutually exclusive. But that isn't the cool bit here. I never said lurkers, I said inactive players.

Billybobfred is a major suspect in an ongoing case, Dariush has yet to explain himself, and to top is all off we are in RVS. It's not hard to find somebody to land any old vote on. Your reasoning is missing anything that resembles logic.
