Ottofar and Kikakan
The two of you have always known that music has a magical power of its own. What you didn’t know is just how powerful it can be. Working together, you two bards have discovered that music, properly managed, can give power over life itself. There are many critical components you need to gather before you can attain true power, and most of them should be available at the Tower of the Necromancer. You joined a party of adventures with the intent of leaving them to die at the hands of the undead.
You didn’t expect that damned ghast to reveal your plan to the rest of the group.
As the arguments begin, you realize the two of you will have to convince everyone else that you’re not trying to betray them for long enough to overpower the survivors. It won’t be easy.
You can communicate privately via music here:
http://www.quicktopic.com/46/H/GHSNthC3r6JOttofar has brought with him a wand to keep things secret and an amulet to keep things safe.
Kilakan brought a scroll that influences the weak-minded and a powerful protection wand.
Ottofar:
Wand of invisibility: Makes target untargetable by anything else. Can be used on yourself along with an additional item- doing so takes two charges from the wand.
Amulet of preservation: All your items can't be destroyed by outside sources
Kilakan:
Wand of the Guardian: You may guard another player. The first time that player is targetted with a night kill tonight, that kill is prevented. You and the person who performed the kill die instead.
Scroll of Command: The target actions you tonight.
You win when it is impossible for you to lose.
Town:
You win when all the anti-town killing or converting roles are eliminated.
Darvi:
You are the ranger of the forest nearby the Tower of the Necromancer. Though the source of the blight is gone, the undead still befoul the air and upset the beasts of the forest. You have joined this group to clear out the undead and bring order back to the forest. You’ll need to survive this ordeal first, however.
An oak dryad gave you a magic wand before you left.
Wand of Slow: Target's action that night is performed last.
Bdthemag:
As the merchant of a magic goods store, you know the best way to increase your inventory is go out and get the goods yourself. That’s why you signed up for this adventure.
Sadly, things have gone badly, what with the revelation that someone is working against you. You hope the wand you brought will help solve this mystery.
Wand of Probing: Learn what items, if any, the targeted player has.
Max White:
Most rangers like yourself are dedicated to patches of forest, but you have not settled in one yet. While you wait, you are going from town to town seeing where your skills are needed. A tower full of undead needs to be cleared out, so you answer the call.
You’ll just have to get through this trial first though. You brought a wand you found on your last adventure.
Wand of Inspect: You are informed of the target's alignment. Possible results are Town, Mafia, and Third Party.
Think0028:
Life is tough in your city, so even your merchant business is suffering. You’ve closed up shop and taken up adventuring as a side business.
This treachery will have to be dealt with, however. Good thing you brought your last magic wand with you.
Wand of Roleblock: The target is blocked.
Dariush:
A Thief like you is often the one responsible for dastardly events. Not this time, however- while you were planning to run off with more than your share of the treasure, you didn’t want to kill anyone. Looks like there will be death before this is over.
You snagged a magic ring early on in the quest- you hope it’s enough to help you.
Ring of Free Action: You are immune to all roleblocks.
webadict:
Peace, love, and music- the only things a free bard like yourself needs! The undead of the tower are harshing the mellow of everyone around, so you want to freak them out. Finding out that some of the group wants you dead is a real bummer.
A couple of magic items will help you make sure everyone is friends at the end.
Wand of Tracking: You are informed of any player the target targets tonight.
Scroll of enchant weapon: Target's kill gain additional 20% chance to ignore kill resistance. This does not stack with itself.
billybobfred:
Tavern performances don’t pay well enough for you, so you’ve set off on a quest to slay undead and find great treasure. Someone is out to kill you all, but you’ll live to see it through... right?
You have your lucky amulet, and you found a wand on a corpse on the way.
Wand of Inspect: You are informed of the target's alignment. Possible results are Town, Mafia, and Third Party.
Amulet of clarity: You are immune to any action that would change your target.
