Good.  For a forum game, better to stick with simplicity for staying power.

Okay.  I like this better then.

Poor-

Farmer- Makes 5 food and 5 stone
Miner- Makes 2 stone and places 3 stone.
Pays 1 gold tax

All need 7 wood permanently, and 1 food and 1 extra wood per year.

Middle

Blacksmith- (Takes 2 stone) Makes 1 iron equipment
Leather- (takes 1 food) Makes 1 leather equipment
Man At Arms- Needs 2 Iron equipment
Pays 5 gold tax

All need 7 stone and 1 iron equipment permanently, and 1 stone and 2 food per year

Upper

Mage- Needs a tower, which takes 1000 stone permanently.  And 3 poor people will disapear per year. 0.0
Knight- Needs a small fort, which takes up 200 stone permantly.  Also needs 4 iron equipment
Taxers- Need 1 per every 100 population (So you can get money) needs 20 stone.
Pays 30 gold tax

All need 5 food per year, plus their buildings.

I think that is simple enough.

thank god i asked to be head of military.
being head of economy would have been a terrible, terrible headache.
i'll just keep asking for my dragonslayerstm and hope they get done. >.> leaving the babbling about economy to the head of finance.

Dude, we just cut out like 90% of the crap.

And that is a good point.  Perhaps having a complicated system encourages them not to be one, so we won't have 100000 barons and 0 champions/generals

no no i know.
it's just that while it's true that games with no laws tend to bore quickly, and game with laws tend to be funnier,
it's also true that from where i'm writing it's quite the late hour.
(and when the sun goes down i lose like 90% of my braincells, they go to sleep and i go in auto mode)
so even if it were to be as easy as a "a military unit only costs tot food" i'd still say: heck, i just order them produced, it's up to the head of the finance to keep the numbers.
(and now i think my remaining 10% cells are drifting away...so see you tomorrow, good night)

lol.

So both me and the current king have posted 2 different economic systems, were gonna do a little polishing, and then we will be done. XD

Host gets to pick.  My issue with the kings is that it's not as specific as mine, but mine is slightly more complicated.

Wait.  Simplest economy ever.

Each person in your economy produces 10 gold.
You spend it on units.
That's it.

Oh.  Would it be more interesting if I was another king, equal in power? THAT would make the game !FUN!

That's happening in YaK, and let me tell you that it verges on Fun rather than fun sometimes.  Design your systems with human nature in mind and your own limits on what you care to administrate.
