My lord, I am a humble farmer. My father was a humble farmer. His father was a humble farmer. His father's father was a violent criminal, but his father's father's father was another humble farmer. I have generations of farming knowledge behind me, and believe myself to almost be worthy of the humble title of agricultural adviser to a ruler as great as you.

I propose allowing the jester to live out the rest of his days as a farmhand. We can always use more. Not to say that you haven't allowed the farm owners enough farmhands, of course.

the idea of adviser talarion is nice. Maybe ameliorate it by using him as a laboratory subject to test new weapons effectiveness...and their sufference upon the enemies of the realm?

Hmmmm... I cannot decide whom to vote upon...    Candidates! suppose that trolls were invading. What would you suggest our lord do?

On the subject of the jester I suggest that we painfully tear off an arm, then feed it to wild beasts. Then we use whats left of him for target practice, if he survives that then he shall be tortured most painfully by having sharp metal objects stuck into various locations of his body, If he survives that he shall be left in a gibbet for a week, if he survives that then he shall be burned at the stake as he would clearly be a witch

Too quick! And of course, if trolls were invading I would advise the Royal Marksmen to light them all aflame from a distance with the Royal Alchemists explosive oil flasks.

If I may, my lord, while the bravery and zeal of some of my peers is admirable, I would humbly suggest someone more... cautious for a position as important as that of Head Advisor. Of course, the choice, as always, is yours.
