Oh, before you ask? I modded in adoption. I made it for when a parent dies and a baby lives, the nearest person grabs the child and cares for it. Just a few simple tweaks, an allowed action.

Acctually, Dikehelped survived the Demontastical Charge of 51. It was a 100 dorf conscript army vs the Demon Rush. In the end, around 3 dorfs were standing, and only 1 didn't fall dead from a syndrome seconds later.

That's not dwarven at all!  That's downright HUMAN!  You don't seal away the Circus! you march in, beat the shit out of the locals, and then turn their landscape into a pleasant little farming community for dwarves to settle down and raise families.  And flood the rest of the Circus around it with magma to keep the overly-pushy neighbours away.  THAT'S the dwarven way.

Just had a weaponsmith go into a strangemood and pick up some platinum! Lets hope for a blunt weapon..

And no, I wasn't cheating in any way.  The embark I have has platinum (has EVERYTHING apparently.. even cotton candy in cavern level 3), and the only 3 bars I had around when he was possessed were two platinum bars (in case of this exact thing) and one bar of steel.  He's only asking for that one bar and one gem (gave him a light yellow diamond).

EDIT: Bah.  A battle axe.  With spikes of platinum and yellow diamond.  "Braidbuds the Dutiful Crab"... name even sucks.  Oh well, hopefully I can get some kills tacked onto the weapon.  Giving it to my commander who, sadly, has been bit by a cave spider and thus suffers from regular bouts of mild dizziness.  I mean sure he wiped out a Strangler siege with one squad by himself, but he broke so many fingers and lost so many teeth..
