Do you think that you could add some variation to the coast? Like harbors and peninsulas? To make it look a little better you could put some sand-colored squares along the edge.

It wont be useless when you get boats.

No, it'll still be useless because there is nowhere to go with said boats. Its just a waste of materials to go somewhere you can get to more easily by foot.

What you talkin' bout? There's got to be wells, lakes, ponds and such. Do you think you can add some other bodies of water, DM?

Seems below the scale, but assume theres a watertable everywhere thats green, including small ponds etc. Also wells could be made.

Also to everyone, don't judge the map too harshly, i'm doing this on a linux machine and it really sucks for graphic editing. I'll make some improvements as and when I can though.
