Quick man set up the two coffins (the second coffin should be placed in the 5x5 room by the meeting area.) that should keep the (Seeing friend/lover decay) from making them unhappy, Darius's body up in the ice is not important its Scrubs body that needs the special treatment. Try and complete the Mason's Workshop 2 to make stone beds for the hospital, there are two dwarves out in the wild that need to be hauled into safety. Also you can pick your own dwarf here is a list of unclaimed/named dwarves

Hell the bed I have makes me ecastic all the time, its so damn comfy. Also try and make defences quickly, as some of the baddies are pretty formidable

For metal I got some maganite that should be run through a Temple of regeneration first (once a sucessful Maganite Orb of Regeneration is made unlimit ore with be there)
So get a craftshop made up to make a alter and then two statues.
