A short update, this gives some hints on who the mystery dwarf and metal dwarf are (more of the metal dwarf) well enjoy:
Dwarven Encampment: Barren Wasteland
Climbing hill after hill thankful for the loss of mortality, I could feel that the dwarves were close. Reaching the top of this hill the dwarves could be seen below, huddled under the wagon to escape the menacing sun. Just then a portal began to materialize not far from the dwarves, within I could see him, the dwarf of black metal. The portal was unstable, as the dark metal dwarf was fading in and out of visibility, could only mean Lustrum was near by was was disrupting the destination. All the dwarves grabbed what they could and drove the wagon to the portal, getting up I sprinted towards the portal the longer human legs giving me more speed. Willing myself to be unseen and passing the dwarves I dived into to portal ahead of them and tackled the Metal Dwarf.
Frozen Cavern Fortress: Portal
Walking into the portal towards the wagon tracks, things were easy as the dwarves were only around the corner. But inside the portal distance seemed to stretch and shrink, odd the dwarves packed up and are now heading towards me. Seems like I will be reunited with my possession once again, whatever it is, why can’t I remember what it is? Reaching out to the oncoming dwarves, until a bodyless aura sped past them and rammed into me. Then the aura grew a human body, then it formed into a dwarf. Struggling with this new adversary was bothersome, head butting the dwarf and willing my form through time and space towards the escaping dwarves. I almost got to them before they went through the other side if the human-dwarf didn’t tackle me into an nearby wormhole.
Time and Space: Unknown
Wrestling with this mechanical dwarf was difficult, he never tired or felt pain making it impossible to phase him. Even with my lack of mortality I’m still a fleshy being, but even then I can still delay this dwarf until a way to destroy him can be found. He got past my defences and landed a solid blow to my chest, it felt like a elephant just stepped on me. I was then thrown into another wormhole which quickly ended in a flash of light, and then sand...
“RISE” pulling myself from the dune and shaking the sand from my beard, it felt great to be a dwarf again even tho I was only human for a very brief time “Astis you never said he was a mad clock makers legendary piece.”
“I HAD NOT KNOWN, HIS SOUL WAS TAKEN BEFORE I COULD BRING HIM BACK.”
“What do you mean his soul was taken? I thought he was a demon?”
“NOT A DEMON, HE WAS LIKE YOU AN AVATAR. BUT OSTAR AND HER MINION HAD TAKEN HIM WHEN HE WAS DEFEATED”
“So your saying... He’s not evil?”
“HE IS NOT EVIL AND IS NOT GOOD, HE IS CONFUSED AND NO LONGER REMEMBERS WHO HE IS.”
“Is there anyway we can bring him back?”
“THERE IS A WAY, BUT IT IS RISKY”
