Hmmmmmm. I may draw interesting or important things that happen now. Understand that they will be crap but they may eventually improve.

I voted yes.

But are we going to keep using the current mod?

I'll keep playing but I am not such a big fan of the mineshaft and the temple.

It depends... Personally, I'd like a bit of nostalgia for a bit. Project firestorm would be interesting...BECAUSE IT HAS A REAL ERUPTING VOLCANO! As some of you know, if you drain a volcano, eventually the magma would rise back up to replenish the lost magma. Now, what if due to a lake glitching over part of it, the magma thinks that it needs to *drum roll*

FLOOD THE WHOLE WORLD WITH LAVA! It would be a race against the clock, attempting to tile over it would no longer be an option, as we would have nothing magma-safe to block it up! HOW LONG BEFORE THE WHOLE WORLD MELTS?! FIND OUT, if you vote for project firestorm...

I'd vote for Project:FS altho It would be great to see this keep going as we made awsome progress. Even tho the bugs in this version of the mod are... painful.
And I have returned... but I have no idea for how long. My RL projects taking up my time  :'( not to mention midterms are reaaaal soon  :-[

Project lockdown is/was a succession game that some of you guys might remember as Deadiron. I was the man who abandoned it. here's the link to the topic to give you an idea of what happened. http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=89462.0
And no, we never did manage to successfully reclaim it. The fort used a mod called Corrosion that is like Regeneration, but more focused on zombies.
EDIT: as for Project reverbot, I'm keeping it mostly a secret, but here's a link containing some info on reverbots so you don't skin me alive for not going into detail. http://megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Reaverbot

How much longer do I have to get this done? I've kinda been out of it.

In completely unrelated news, I've discovered it's not a good idea to get a new game while you have outstanding games you're partway through. Especially Civilization.

Nor is it a good idea to get involved in three succession forts in three successive weeks.

You likely have about 3-4 days. If you've lost interest, then resign in character.

I have finished my turn, story-wise. I may play for another month, with little new work being done as if the dwarves are without an overseer. That, or I can just stop in mid-Opal. Thoughts?
journal will be up as soon as I make it. I'll get it done in time. Yes. YESYESYESYES... Arg, civ...

Save's ready. I'll upload it, and edit this when I'm done.

Final journal will be up not long after.

EDIT: file's up. http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=5091

For easy reference, this is its description-

Code: [Select]
The save to be used by the next player after me in the Flash Freeze succession. Have FUN.
Read the mod instructions at http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=92138.msg2574307#msg2574307
Just try to avoid the surface. There's tons of zeds and almost no resources.
I've newly labelled most levers and areas. READ THEM.
Note that the dwarves are assigned to an 'inside' burrow that stop them from going outside when triggered in the alerts screen. Expand the 'inside' burrow when any new rooms are dug out, and add any migrants to the lists.

Recommended- get more traps going, and add to the military. There's ambushes goin' on.

Please wait to start posting, overseer, until I put up my last journal.
