Long time no Side Story update

Edge of Wasteland

A sharp stabbing pain quivered through the universe, signalling the death of David last of Portalpriests. This could not be his work, I pushed him out father in the wormhole he would be fortnights away from the dwarves. As I travelled by beard began to itch again, and the smell of decay hit my heightened senses. Turning quickly with a spinning jump kick my foot connected with something solid, that something solid was a rotten human skull it shattered from the force of the blow. Only one, he must be the cause for the undead in the other world. Only Ostar would be capable of something this unholy, the soul may be him but the capsule must be Ostar. Only a Demon or God can materialize themselves in the mortal realm as objects, it makes perfect sense now.

Swampy Jungle, Unknown

The fabric of this world and others cried out in mourning at the loss of a soul, this loss fired a memory. “There was Lizardmen invading, I was running to meet them but the fortress was so large. A young recruit could be seen in the distance at the entrance to the fort, every step he got larger and so did the number of Lizardmen. He fought with a style that I could only call my own, as I had trained him and now had to watch him get cut down. With a scream of rage I burst from the hall bowling through the Lizardmen cutting them down to the recruit, my squad came and started finished them off as I went the to recruit. Holding him he smiled back at me and gave me his amulet and told me to keep it for protection” then it faded away like mist in the dawn. No matter how hard I try why can’t I remember who I am? Or what these memories are? But I know all these answers will be in that object that the dwarf carries. As I looked to the direction of the object several fallen warriors of every race joined me, and we walked together in  silence.

OOC:
hopefully everyone remembers who these two characters are.

Update shall be tommorow. Did you know that this is my first siege? Anyway I has another kind of update for you. CHAPTER 1!

Chapter 1
Backstory

Now that he is gone, I can tell you a story. A story of magic, and me. Death.

   I’m still here you know.

   No your not.

   Yes I am.

Your not supposed to be here.

Why is that? Is it because of my “appointment”?

   Perhaps.

Well I’m not leaving. Besides does it really matter where I am when my time runs out?

I suppose not. Your time will come, whether you are in Haven city or elsewhere. At least I won’t have to search for you.

Well alright then. While you tell the story, would you like to play some chess?

No. I never really got the hang of it. Checkers is more my speed. Anyway on with the story.

May I tell this story? Your text is giving the readers a headache.

No, It is my story. Isn’t that right Mr. Author?

Ouch. Why must you insist on breaking the fourth wall? And no, it is my story. And I created the Narrator for a reason.

Fine. I shall let him tell the story.

Thanks. Narrator you may continue, I have a fourth wall to fix.

Thank you. Now in Aluronra there exists a force called Magik. The people who can use magik are called Magus. Magus are very powerful, and well respected throughout the land, if for no other reason that it is a bad idea to make one angry. Magus have to be trained or they cannot control their magik, which is disastrous. One untrained magus can destroy and entire region, if left to their own devices for long enough. For this reason the law dictates that all children at who reach the age of five, are to be tested for any magikal power. If the child has magik, they are taken to one of the Great Collages to learn how to control it. The child may be taught in one of many different schools of magik. The most common schools are, Healing, Battle, Illusion, and Summoning. Healing magus mostly practice medicine and exorcism. Battle magus practice the more dangerous applications of Magik, such as fireballs, bolts of lightning, and other devastating powers. Illusionists create and control images and sounds, painting the world around them as an artist paints a canvas, becoming invisible, or disguising themselves. Summoners can call and control large beasts. These beasts can be used for warfare, or as beasts of burden. Now

Get on with it. This is boring me.

   Alright fine. Be that way.

   Thank you.

   Sheesh.

Didn't know you would try to battle it out, I was hopeing the army could be trained enough so they could defeat the hidden Blind Cave Orge invasion in the caves. As zombies are full of badassness and are terribley hard to kill. And having basic to wood weapons and even less armor is no help either lol.

For the story thats the first I've seen a narrator for one in the intro, not saying nay just saying new. I'm intriged, and I assume it will go straight to the main char's point of view?
