Not quite.  You don't get any points for the games you put up. It was made this way to prevent the jackasses that kept making fake giveaways to gain more points.

You are right, this thread has turned into a thread for invites. I've been putting off requesting one for quite awhile now, as I don't like begging.

Perhaps a new thread could be made, one where people offer gifted games (either directly or through lottery) for an invite.

On the other hand, I don't understand why this thread should be locked. If people want to ask for an invite, and someone is willing to give it to them, why should we get in the way?

As for your idea about making a new thread, trading games or money for steamgift accounts goes against the steam rules and can get your account banned. It's also not worth it considering how hard it is to win public giveaways
