So I've been trying to get into this for the last couple of months, but apparently Steamgifts have been invite-only ever since I learned of its existence. Anyone got a spare invite for me [insert humble reasonings for why I specifically should have your invite code here], I'd really appreciate it ;)

I do visit the forum daily, several times; it's just that I'm not a very talkative person and since we don't need to actually register an account to see the forum content, I didn't find myself rushed to do so. Can't you see my english is a mess? I'm brazilian and kinda terrible at formulating sentences in english, so there you have it: another reason for me not to participate like you do. I mean, posting and talking and... It's just so difficult to do it in a language I didn't got to grow up with, feels like I'm a five-year-old child trying to say something.

Well, that's about it.

...Actually, you're more fluent than 90% of the internet. Well done, and I apologize for my harshness.

Unfortunately, I don't have any invites, so you'll have to see if another person has a spare.

No problem, Naxza. I do understand what you did there, you had a good point.
I'll try to be a more active member, I guess that'll also help to improve my english.

???

Dude, your English is near perfect! Seriously, all you're really missing is some capitalization and a bit of grammar (like a very, very small amount). You've got some sweet looking punctuation, which was unexpected. I mean, do you know how many English-speaking people know how to use a colon?

I can't believe you think you have poor English.

Yeah. and You seem to actually know what you are saying. Even the natives can speak absolute nonsense from time to time. Anyways, I'd like an invitation if anyone got spare keys.

Edit: I'm just curious. I'm no native either, and I don't really see any grammer mistakes in his post. Can someone point that out for me?

Don't get so excited, by the way. I've entered in around 100 contests, and have never gotten anything ;)

Unless you like to get stuff just because it's free, and try every single thing, you probably won't get anything for a LONG while. I would think everybody should be able to join as long as they donated a game worth at least $5.

Did you get a code yet?

Oh, and I'm only up to about 150 entries (no wins). I keep forgetting about it.

Here's the hundred-and-fiftieth person requesting an invite.

Regarding the need to have over $30 on your steam account; Will having more than that give a new account extra starting points, or are the only ways to get points donating games and waiting for others to donate games?

Edit: Just so I can pretend I'm a contributing member of the forum, I've got two guest passes for Killing Floor that expire at the end of November for whoever wants 'em.
