Reclaiming a fortress not made by you.

I have seen video by PlumpHelmetPunk that he reclaimed a fortress made trough history and i found that awesome but i cant seem to find any in-game, were they removed in previous patches or am i just doing something wrong?

this is what i am talking about.

You can't embark on world gen sites in the current version, but I believe there's a DFHack utility that allows you to do so.

Yes there is. On the modding section of the forum, in the DF mod and utilities topic.

I would like to be able to embark on the ruins of an abandoned fortress. I think that could be very flavorful. Imagine, a fortress long abandoned, your dwarfs retaking it, raising it back to its former glory!
