Go up the stairs. Making sure not to get ambushed again.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

If I'm not mistaken, an Apprentice in Whips has a +2 to attack, +1 to damage. Could you update my bonuses in the profile?
AoE Drain Life on the frogmen, especially the ones attacking Tarok. Triplets shield me from those who decide to retaliate.

Oh, and did you mention something about special abilities?

Gareid scratches the puppy's head "D'aww, aren't you the cutest little-" Gareid yelps, cut off by a sudden gnawing on his ankle, "Ha, maybe you guys would make great hunting companions. Well, after I'm done with this maybe..." Now satisfied with the current demeanor of the pack, Gareid proceeds to gather the harvest.

Actually, an Apprentice in Whips gets +2 attack. Taric has an extra +1 damage from his spear. Fixed, though.

Special abilities, yes... I've been meaning to apply a bonus for rolling [6][Luck 6] or [6] vs [1], but I'm currently somewhat torn between two different ways to do it.

Turn 16: Treacherous

Go ask a fire cult member where all the common and uncommon 'ingredient' areas are.
[1][Luck 6] He tells you about a searing cauldron of death, ruled over by a creature powerful beyond reckoning. That's really helpful...

...although, it's likely there's interesting but possibly nonlethal things near the jagged canyon, if you're interested. He also asks why you're holding that book.

Go up the stairs. Making sure not to get ambushed again.
The staircase is creaky, and at the top you find double doors leading to a fairly large hallway. It's got nice carpet and regular square pillars.

[2] vs [6] Next thing you know, you've been slammed into the space past the pillars by an unseen assailant. Having just checked you aside, it's nice and close to give you an unnerving, hollow-sounding laugh- it looks like a living humanoid shadow with white light coming out of its eyes and jagged mouth. Similar noises come from two sources next to you.

Surrounded: Attackers get +1 next turn

AoE Drain Life on the frogmen, especially the ones attacking Tarok. Triplets shield me from those who decide to retaliate.
[4-1] vs [1+1][2+1][3+1] You sap a bit of energy from one, but your magic fails to reach the others.

[3-1][4-1][6-1] vs [2][5][1] The brute attacking you breaks off to head for Alexander, croaking for the hunters to finish you off. The three you attacked oblige, firing two poorly-placed arrows but putting one solidly in your torso. You stagger to your knees, vision focusing and unfocusing. You might be able to keep fighting, or maybe you should take a nap...

+1 HP
-4 HP
1 damage to frogman hunter
+2 Necromancy

Lets go to the dry fruit place, I'm sure the guardian and me can work things out.
[2][Luck 4] You have trouble finding it, but nothing ill comes of it.

The site itself is rather odd- it's essentially a grassy knoll rising from the water. It wouldn't look out of place elsewhere, but it's fairly unique out here. Trees line most of the perimeter, forming a sort of fence with an obvious entrance.

Climbing onto dry land, you begin making your way further in. The canopy is fairly low, forcing you to bend over, but it's not especially hard to move, especially since the ground is quite solid beneath you. At some point, you hear a hissing noise.

The guardian is hard to describe, but a black exoskeleton-clad snake with a pale human face comes decently close. It droops lazily from the trees, flicking its long tongue out and watching you. It speaks with a leisurely, almost lethargic pace.

"Who'ssssss come for it thisssssss time?"

Stab the bastards!
[3+2] vs [6] The bastard dodges to the side.

[5] vs [5-1] The poison slows you down enough to get another dose of poison. The frogman smirks at you, evidently enjoying that little tidbit.

[1-1][4-1] vs [4][3] With their target gone rogue, two frogmen hunters start shooting at you instead. One narrowly misses, the other you'll have to assume was even aiming at you.

-1 HP
-1 to next dodge

Continue the attack.
[3] vs [5+1] Your blade finds only grass.

[1] The wyrmling angrily chirps at you, displeased that you've led it into danger. It begins swimming low to the ground, and fires at you for good measure. [5] vs [3] You feel yourself slowing down- the light didn't hurt you, but it definitely affected you.

[4-1] vs [3-2] The last frogman that isn't attacking Straga hits you with an arrow. It probably would have missed had you not been slowed by your own summon...

-2 HP

Gareid scratches the puppy's head "D'aww, aren't you the cutest little-" Gareid yelps, cut off by a sudden gnawing on his ankle, "Ha, maybe you guys would make great hunting companions. Well, after I'm done with this maybe..." Now satisfied with the current demeanor of the pack, Gareid proceeds to gather the harvest.
[6][Luck 6] You gather far more than you can carry, but manage to lash the stems together into a crude and probably insane net, allowing you to simply roll a giant ball of them across the ground. You kind of hope they're not fragile.

Quote from: aut0-ExKirby
Fire!
[4+1] vs [5] Your point-blank efforts fail to damage the frogmen.

[1+1][5+1] vs [1+2][2+2] One misses, one wings you again. The one who hit croaks in anger.

-2 HP

[3][Luck 2] The frogman keeps croaking, though this time in a somewhat plaintive manner.

[3] Several figures seem to be shambling in from the direction the frogman was croaking in. If they really pick up the pace, they'll arrive momentarily- otherwise, you might have a bit.

Triplets feed me some honey-on-a-bone in an attempt to heal me.
If they succeed, enchant my whip with a Drain Life spell.

"Whew, bet this'll turn in a real haul." Garied smirks at his abomination-of-a-transport-method. As Gareid starts to push the ball, he is cut off by a swift jab at his ankle, "Agh!" turning down, he sees the puppy again. "Sorry, but you're probably better off with the rest of your pack right now, who knows, maybe some day you'll just so happen to be nearby when I'm about to get my ass handed to me" Gareid scratches the puppy's head and proceeds to Return the haul
