His daughter doesn't need saving anymore, right?
Find a hospital, get healed. Pay in honey if needed.

Correct.

[6] Before leaving, you find a healer willing to heal you and go on at length about quality honey. He doesn't charge you anything.

You're now back with the others in front of the cave, unless you'd rather not be.

Anything more specific in mind?

Well, you could specify whether you're looking to find, earn, or build it. You could give some idea of its preferred qualities or power.

Find.

Made of some lighter-than-steel but about as good--or better--metal.

Power: Living sword that can talk to the wielder. For the lulz.

Yes, I'd like to join the company.

So, are we going into that cave? Dibs on the rearmost position. Put some honey on a bone, give it to Triplets as a reward for loyalty. Ask Triplets to scout the cave and return if they meet anything hostile.

Garied, somewhat unsatisfied with the information he gathered, shifts on his feet a little, "Implike demons in a cave, huh... Could always wonder what they're there for, but if anything I learned from that last fight, I need to be careful about this." Looking over to the side, Gareid could see the entrance to the basement Derm had just entered a little while ago, "And for sure, doing it alone is suicide. Unless I could find some way to augment my power..." Gareid opts to listen about for some more concrete information, perhaps something on an artifact or at minimum some better supplies.

Summon a Will o' Wisp , and use it as a lightsource when in the caves.

Follow Taricus, if we choose not to go down the mine, slap the dude across the face for suggesting it.

Question-bump. You like questions, right?
- What school of magic was responsible for morphing three monkey corpses into the body of Triplets? Was it Necromancy?
- Can I do that to living bodies? Undead bodies? Parts of dead bodies?
- If I can't morph living bodies with Necromancy, what school can do it?

I blame all lack of updates on Dwarmin's Order of the Kai RTD. And Mafia. Lots of Mafia.

- What school of magic was responsible for morphing three monkey corpses into the body of Triplets? Was it Necromancy?
Perhaps I should clarify. Triplets isn't actually fused- it's just three monkey bodies with a death grip on each other. They're one entity in spirit, though, so trying to pry one off would be about as hard and have about the same effect as trying to rip a third off any other undead, for instance.

That said, yes, the fusing was done with Necromancy.

- Can I do that to living bodies? Undead bodies? Parts of dead bodies?
For what you did with Triplets, I suspect you wouldn't want to do that to living things. Having their souls already detached is a great help as well.

For fusing them together proper-like, it would theoretically be possible with anything, though the school used might have to be somewhat specialized. Obviously, the difficulty of doing so and finesse with which you achieved it would vary by skill and what you were going for.

- If I can't morph living bodies with Necromancy, what school can do it?
Some sort of Fleshwarper skill or similar might work. More normal/general schools, like Transmutation or Polymorphing, might or might not work depending on what exactly they did and what exactly you were trying to do. The same applies to dead bodies, though the two wouldn't necessarily use the same school.

Triplets are hugging each other? How cute. No wonder nobody reached for torches and pitchforks when I was in town.

Anyway, on to plan B. More questions!
- Does sacrificing lifeforce for a temporary increase in power classify as a variation of Necromancy?
- Can that power be used for any activity? For example, if a hypothetical necromancer was to sacrifice a mouse or two to get a one-time bonus to baking cupcakes or mesmerizing an infant, would it work?
- Would blood and flesh be adequate replacements for lifeforce in a sacrifice?

Hm. It might in specific instances, but generally I think you'd need something else.

With the proper type of magic, probably. Necromancy uses would probably work more like spell costs than a temporary boost.

It might theoretically be possible, especially combining a new school with necromancy, to suck some minor life force out of corpses or what have you, but in general blood or flesh would be more of a conduit than a commodity in its own right. It could also theoretically be possible to "store" said power for later, but that'd generally be special preparation, not just grabbing some physical blood for later.
