Summon a fire spirit.
Have it aim for the base!

Turn 1: Painful Pinpricks

"Well that is quite odd a fight with monkeys this might be fun. Now ClikClik (The Skeletal bird) go attack them while I summon a demon, but don't get yourself destroyed." with that the bird flew at the monkies, and Tarok began summoning a lunar demon.
[6-1][Luck 2] You masterfully summon a somewhat small imp-like demon with a somewhat goat-like appearance, with white fur, large horns sweeping back on its head, and silver eyes. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem the slightest bit interested in you.

[6-2][2-2][3-2] vs [4][6][4] The monkeys swoop at you. They miss.

+3 Summoning

Start stabbin' monkeys >:3
[6+2] vs [1] You readily skewer a monkey, which dies with a deflated-sounding cry. Unfortunately it's now stuck on your spear.

[6-2][4-2][5-2] vs [5][1][2] The monkeys scratch you somewhat.

+4 Spears
Flying Monkey slain!
-2 HP

"Eat this, unholy abomination!"

Bolt the demon with a bolt of divine magic.

[5] vs [3+1] The demon shrieks slightly as your holy bolt wings it. It doesn't seem especially hurt, however.

[6+1] vs [2] Perhaps enraged by your holy magic, the demon bursts forward alarmingly fast, stabbing your right knee with its needle-claws. The attack is more accurate than it is damaging, fortunately.

+3 Holy Magic
-4 HP
Injured Knee: 1/2 chance for -1 dodge next round

"Oh lovely, fire breathing plant, meet fire flinging sorcerer, before the minute's out we're all going to be fried in an inferno." Gareid prepares to Summon Rock Slabs to block any incoming attacks
[5+2][Luck 3] vs [4] You successfully create a rock slab to block most of the plant's attack. Some slips through, however.

+4 Earth Magic

"Make that three things. You'd better duck, good meatshields are hard to come by these days."
Summon a fire spirit.
Have it aim for the base!

[1][Luck 5] You summon an ice spirit. It's friendly and obedient. Huh...

[4] vs [1] You completely fail to dodge the plant's fiery attack, but fortunately the stone slabs blocks some of the damage. [4] vs [3] You are now very slightly on fire.

+3 Summoning
-2 HP
On Fire: Will take 1 damage next round

Whip the monkeys out of the air.
[5+1] vs [6] The monkey just barely dodges your attack.

[5-2][2-2][5-2] vs [2][3][2] The monkeys scratch you.

-2 HP

Draw the fire off of myself and hurl it at the plant.
Ice spirit: Attack the base of the plant.

Can I have something like a 'minions' subspoiler? Might come in handy.

Taricus, you could try using your Leadership to give these monkeys weird ideas, like fighting each other or becoming your minions.
AoE Spell: Drain Life on monkeys.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Turn 2: Disproportionate Immolation

MORE STABBING.
[5+2] vs [2] You add another monkey to the skewer.

[1-2][2-2] vs [2][6] The other monkeys aren't coming near that.

+4 Spears

Draw the fire off of myself and hurl it at the plant.
Ice spirit: Attack the base of the plant.

Can I have something like a 'minions' subspoiler? Might come in handy.
[6+2][Luck 6] You completely immolate your hands as the pinch of fire on you is transformed into a roaring cone of flame. The plant is lit up like a torch.

[6] The ice spirit obeys. [2] vs [4] Unfortunately, it misses.

[2] vs [2] The plant misses you with its fiery attack.

-2 HP
+5 Fire Magic
Plant takes 6 damage, is burning for 2/round

"Yes, quite the meatshield, aren't I." ,While continuing to manage the slabs, launch stone spears from the ground.
[3+1] vs [6] Your spears miss. You are also unable to both manage slabs and attack at the same time.

Tell the demon to attack if it doesn't kick it, and order it again after taht began fist fighting the monkies try to use earth magic if possible to attack.
[5] vs [3] It bleats irritatedly, but looks up at the monkeys. [3-1] vs [2] Its halfhearted swipe misses.

[1-1] vs [1] You fail miserably at attacking with earth magic, despite the monkey failing miserably at dodging where your attack would have been.

[3-2][3-2][2-2] vs [6][4][5] You expertly dodge the monkeys' incompetent swiping.

AoE Spell: Drain Life on monkeys.
[6][Luck 3] You sap some life from some of the monkeys. It's not a lot, but it heals you just fine.

+4 Necromancy
Deal 1 damage to 4 monkeys
Heal 2 damage

[3-2][2-2][3-2] vs [4][1][2] The monkeys fail to redamage you.

Anyway, OH MY GOD THAT HURT.

Swing at it's head with my sword!
[2+1] vs [5+1] You completely miss its head.

[5+1] vs [6] Fortunately, it also barely misses yours.
