As I type this, the brightest light is directly to my south, up above and around it's dark, the air is still and too warm for my liking, and yet it is at least nicely dry.
However, if I actually look away from the aforementioned monitor, and peek through the heavy, closed curtains to my left that were drawn to prevent the worst excesses of the morning sunlight ruining my computing experience, I can see the long grass in my desperately-needs-tending garden waving in a slightly breeze, patches further from the house glowing from direct sunlight passing by various other buildings in the vicinity, and when I look at the device communicating with some external temperature senses I can see that it is certainly still far too warm outside to try to recycle the house's air with some strategically opened windows and so I shall stay here, at least until I'm forced to go out a little later in the day to accomplish various weekend tasks that I'd promised myself I'd do.
(I'm the kind of person who is far happier at ambient temperatures of less than 15°C than more than 25°C, and last night it was definitely in the latter camp in my bedroom. If I have any form of
SAD it applies more in pushing me towards aestivation than hibernation, as this bit of the earth's surface presents different aspects of itself to the glare of our central star throughout its orbital journey.)
