You aren't able to find a weapon, but you do find a generator with eight hours of fuel when you fall into a ruined fallout shelter. You also find a slightly ruined fire station. What can you do with this?

Search the two places for anything useful, like tools, weapons, food and any junk you can craft with.

Scavenging, you find a remote control (Battery useless), a kevlar helmet (Perfect condition) and an auto teller on the outside of the building (Non EMP'd, miraculously)

Put on the helmet, and stay in the place for shelter.  If you can, keep looking for more stuff, please.

First, find something to barricade with,and then search for an axe. In the fire station.       (Im assuming that this is a fall out style universe with supermutants and such.)

You were already scavenging inside the shelter. Instead of finding something to barricade yourself with, you find a Kaleidoscope. Aw. But, it is night now. I think someone is about to attack.

(Okay, the rundown of the game mechanics: You can't try to find anything, you scavenge. This is mainly because it's been twenty years and all the really good stuff has been hidden. You can use your imagination as to how. Every day, you gain more tools and weapons to fight back against whatever comes in the darkness. Got it?)

I suppose we could bash them with the helmet. . . . . .I dont know. We could also use the flame welder. . . . Does the kalidescope have glass in it?

Break glass out of kalidescope, insert into seam around edge of remote for throwing implement.   kalidemote.

Kaliedoscope's a nice tube.  If we can find some lenses, it'll make a good telescope attachment for the helmet.

Better yet, see about attaching the tube to the end of our welder.  We might be able to make a launcher (think potato gun) out of it.
