Clutching your chest, you make a run for it. The Romans are unable to keep up, their armor weighing them down. Soon you two are alone in the middle of the woods, drenched from the rain, which has been falling for hours on end. You stop to rest for a moment, you feel a bit winded. The cuts on your chest aren't bleeding really any more, and your brother seems to be fine so you continue onwards. Praise the Gods! You spot the horses off into the distance along with the rest of your men. It seems that the other scout group also came into contact with some Romans, and managed to kill one! They brought back a metal
helmet. Funny, you thought it was some sort of cauldron. It will provide better armor than this silly fur hat anyway.
You mount the horses and head towards the steppes. By the time you've made it to the edge of the forest, the raining stops and the sun shines over the steppes once more. You and your men spot something on the horizon while riding. Will you investigate?
