Posting to watch and ocasionally suggest something.

I however feel the title is alittile bit odd..
This may be the real world version of a barbarian, but still.. did they even have peasants?  ???
I guess I should do some research on this?

In antiquity, Barbarians were mostly everybody save the Romans and Greek (Except if you asked the Greek, who though even the Roman were barbarians). Which doesn't mean 4/5th of the world was busy fighting in a fur thong.

I guess it depends on what your definition of peasant is. It's a lot less complex than "You are a Scytho-Sarmatian Steppe Semi-Nomadic Tribesman".


PS. I'll have to decide the rest tomorrow. I'm thinking of some kind of super interactive commanding battle mini-game type thing for down the road.

Yeah, nothing else to do.

Assemble the prisoners somewhere and ask them who speak Scythian. Try to break them into 3 groups of different ethnicities, while making sure each group got leaders that can understand you and communicate (maybe with subleaders) with all of his men.

Also check what equipment is available.

find some new equipment the best armor we got is a roman helmet and our best weapon is a worn handaxe... theres got to be a outfitter or a supply wagon somewhere in this camp

Maybe we could get some leather armor, something cheap but better than nothing.
If we are successful we'll loot some roman armor.

This is part of why the Romans were so successsful. They equipped their soldiers after the Marian reforms. Almost every other nations' soldiers had to find equipment themselves.
