Does anyone else think that dwarves should produce, ummm, waste? And it piles up everywhere if you don't have a sewage system and bathrooms and provides bad thoughts if it's everywhere. Early game it could be a zone outside and later it could be a room. I think this would make it realistic, also it seems like you never have to worry about this in games, I wonder why?

I'm guessing this idea's been done before, but would you mind telling me why it wouldn't work?

Giant cave spiders can produce webs. Copy and modify webs and add a tag to dwarves that lets them make the modified webs. Then make the modified webs let out miasma. That would work, wouldn't it?

Didn't Toady mention in a DF Talk that you could mod dwarves to lay a liquid egg and this would result in a splash of liquid at a nest box, so the weirdos who want to handle waste could? Me, I just set my meeting area over the farm and assume they fertilise it. Makes sense, doesn't it?
