Are you able to retroactively do these ticket things?

Yup. You don't get the extra one-day discounts on the purchase price, but the achievements are available for the entire event.

That said, don't get too far behind - you don't want to wind up with 20 tickets left to earn on the last day!  ;)

Awesomeness, just got one prize without even playing anything.
Unfortunately steam isn't accepting my serial key for warband, so that's pretty disappointing.

Thank god for my girlfriend, I really can't do some of these things. :p

And I'm pissed off that they removed that "Drop That Beat Like An Ugly Baby" one because it was bugged. I DID IT IN THE TIME IT TOOK TO GET IT REMOVED.

Ha, I just realized if you don't have the AI war: Fleet command pack and take the DLC from the prize booth, it actually costs you more than buying the entire package.

AI war: Alien bundle = 12,49 eur
Individually buying all except Zenith remnant = 13,47 eur

Very sneaky. :P

God, I love Serious Sam. It's like what Duke Nukem Forever SHOULD have been.

I love steam :P I just got that alien game by uploading some random DF pic, posting at a random friends page and throwing axes at green elves (also got a perv achievement for doing that...)

With Fire and Sword has it's issues but after the last patch it was transformed into a decent enough game.
Guns reworked, less oneshot kills from across the map, less bugs with quests, better animations, milita units at villages, crouching, more formations like volly shot and unit line depth, being hit while reloading doesn't make it start again, better mp.

Still has it's problems though.
Troops are still hard to get, the "good pistol" is very easy to get early game and outshines all other firearms, gone back to the typical heavy cal. kills all, weapons are still expensive, bandits can be a pain, no tournys, no arenas, no dualing system, weapons outside the "firearm and polearm" classes will still see little use

I've been playing it the past couple days and been having a lot more fun then when it first came out. Played as a "rieter" or a horsemen with a firearm. Ended up duing the Russian quest and
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
which was a whole carbine of fun!

I would get the complete pack of mount and blade. First one for those ol' mods that have the most polish, warband for being generally awesome with good mods coming and Fire and Sword for being a decent experience and hopefully an awesome one with more future polish.

Nah it's on the right hand side, the text box goes outside the browser window even when stretched  to 1920x1080makes it rather annoying to type long sentences when you can't see them.  :(

I can read the forums just fine though.

Excellent, AI Wars is on sale.  I was hoping it would eventually.  :)

If you don't already have a game demo downloaded for today's free ticket try this
Quote
Demo Achievement Guide
Paste this in your browser or click on it:
steam://install/97010

Or if for some reason that doesn't work manually click on "Download Demo" on the right side of:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/97010/

The game is Solar 2.

It is only 30MB.

Clear your cache. I PM'd toady about this and that was what his 'forumguy' said. Worked for me.
