Apparently "post a video" is secret code for "link your youtube account".

Ah well. No facebook or youtube for me. What a shame.

Apparently you still need to add a video from your youtube account. I don't even have any videos. This has to be one of the worst ideas I've seen for the steam platform- I can understand videos from games, but videos directly from youtube? Terrible.

Anyone think Winter Voices will get into the daily deal?

Will Splinter Cell Conviction run on my decent gaming laptop? It definitely CAN'T handle: Assassins Creed 2, and Oblivion. It definitely can do any source games, though.
Anyway, if not, should I get chaos theory instead, or just pass altogether?

Yeah, it's kind of...needless. Youtube is just fine thanks, embedding it in Steam doesn't make it any better.

Regardless, I'm going for that ticket. The View Videos button appears in my profile, I linked my Youtube account to my Steam, I can click on it and they'll play the videos through Steam and everything, but I haven't gotten the ticket. When I click the "add videos from Youtube" button I get this:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I checked that they're all public and embed-OK. Still bugged or is it just overloaded and incredibly slow? Anyone else had success with this?

Splinter Cell Conviction is not well optimized and on my gaming laptop it starts to get bogged down after 10-15 minutes. I have never played beyond the first hour of the game due to that. If you have an i5 processor or better and a decent card with 4gb of ram I would say go for it.

I've picked up the video ticket fine after having uploaded a tf2 video just before the ticket was pulled last time, so I'd say you need to upload a video from tf2.

I was considering uploading my Sanctum savegame for those too lazy or impatient to get through the first three levels to get the achievement, but I couldn't find it.

Too bad for them I guess.

It's not that hard to do on easy and Sanctum has some serious cheat prevention, so I don't know if it'd work.

Your second guess is right, I think. I was having the same problem, and I had that problem when I loaded http://steamcommunity.com/id/trafalgar/videos/add in Chrome as well, but after reloading the page 3 or 4 times in chrome it suddenly listed all of my youtube videos. And now, whether I do it in steam or a real browser, it lists them all, every time.
