I didn't realize/forgot that wealth was listed now. My badness.

In any case, no new orders. Previous post stands.

I am going to join for the US as a backup/adviser.

I feel we should begin research into better armor, at least the heavy duranium. Do we have a dedicated support vessel? Point defense and sensor suite ship is what I mean. If not, we should have one designed, but not produced until approved.

Thoughts?

EU's Orders Second Draft

In addition to the offer of an OSR-232 ship for Pebble Bed Reactor technology and Nuclear Pulse Engine technology, I offer 5000 wealth in exchange for 5000 Duranium.

How many available workers are in the EU population?

Welcome aboard!  :)

Research into better armor is probably next on the agenda, though it will be slow going without a specialist. We'd also have to refit all the existing ships to take advantage of the upgrade. Personally, I'm willing to wait until we have things like better engines and possibly better weapons, so we can do several upgrades at once.

We also do not have a support vessel yet. If we're gonna stick to a theme, I vote for the use of gauss weapons for PD purposes. A few quad turrets, assuming we upgrade the proper techs, would work quite well. We do not need a dedicated sensor vessel yet however, as the Spruances have their own sensors.

Suggestions?

Sounds good to be me, if we are waiting on armor, I feel we should focus on weaponry. I quite enjoy the carrier fighter combo thing, should we perhaps create some sort of bomber craft?

A bomber craft would be awesome, but again we need better weapon systems. Box-launchers would best fit the bomber role, and would pack quite a punch.

What we really need is a scientist with the proper specialty. Sadly, there's no way to get a specific specialist, even with SM mode as far as I can tell.

Perhaps we can do the same thing, but instead of a ton of little missiles, have one huge missile? Very big, very high strength, harder to shoot down. Kind of like strapping an ICBM to a bigger fighter.

Aw crap. I was on a mini-vacation for 5 days, which is why I hadn't been on for the PRC. Oh well. It was tough for me to keep track of what was going on anyways. I'm still interested to see how the LP turns out though.

It may be helpful to join Nihon-Koku, they only have one player, if my memory serves me well.

Especially since Japan hasn't posted yet. Wonder if we lost another player  :(

Well, apologies to everyone who stuck with the thread, but it looks like there's not enough participation to continue; I'm not deleting another nation. I was having a lot of fun though, and might try something similar in the future, on a more active forum.

Well, that's a shame. Still, I had a good time and met many interesting folks. I guess we've found a game that even DF players think is to in-depth to keep track of. :P

Now I feel like making an LP, though I have no idea which game to do; perhaps a different 4X game. But I'll keep watching this thread, in case it starts up again.
