Japan has some sexy fast shield techo cruisers.

China has rusty old subs with BF Missiles, hopefully we'll be modernizing soon :)

Yup, but in term of gameplay they aren't so different. Quality vs Quantity I'd say.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Not my fault we didn't get special gunboat/fighter tech :P

What other special things can we develop to have a theme of our own... drones?

Giant starbases?

Well, PDCs, orbital bases, Multiple Warhead Missiles, very large ships, specialized microwave ships...

Well we do have the giant multi warhead missiles, and mesons. Just have to blow the dust that's accumulated on them!

True, a 10,000 ton tender would be quite fast. It could also hold lots of fuel and maintenence supplies for long-term voyages, and maybe even a gun or two. I'm also leaning towards A.

And yeah, I'm definitely sticking with fighters for as long as possible. They were a big reason I picked the US in the first place  :D

@ Knave: You could always take the Gaunt rush approach. Hordes of cheap, fragile missile boats. Or do the dwarfy thing and kill everything with magma (plasma)  :P

Huge, immobile weapon platforms and tugs.

China has a fairly large colony on Mars, they could turn it into an impregnable fortress with PDCs and claim it as exclusive territory.

China is basically the Zerg. Swarms over and doesn't afraid of anything.

Glad to hear it! The number of actual participants is small enough I worry about one or two people losing interest and having no one to give orders for a side. Lots of other posters, though, so at least I know people are following the thread.

I could be updating more, but... Dance with Dragons just came out! Only 600 pages to go!

Could there be a general summary of colonial possessions and ship stats of the powers in the next update?
More specifically, the stats for FF Illustrious, the bodies apart from earth which the EU has population/facilities on, [and the positions of naval assets.]*

*only if they are based on a different planet than earth

Well, with all this spying now going on I suppose it'd be rude of me not to join in, so a slight edit to my orders.

It's kinda cool that the EU has so many people playing for it. Disagreements are sure to arise, just as they would in real life when a bunch of sovereign nations are trying to work under one banner. It's more realistic!

Yeah, I like it. Good to see you've adapted to our system of editing with colours.
However I don't think this is the place to ask for non-aggression pacts. You need to ask the Chinese players.

Also, just to make thing clear: I wasn't trying to get a profit out of moving your mines. I just want you to give us the fuel needed, since we so short on the stuff.
