In order to combat the fuel crises I recommended that we assign more labs to fuel production and use our small commercial shipyard to build a small tanker (engines 10-20 fuel tanks to shuttle fuel from the refinery fleet on Jupiter to Earth)

May I subject placing ships under the planets they are in orbit of? Otherwise it'll become really hard to track them.

Also, the EU want to capitalize on its world-class lasers and mining technologies. We are interested in sensors and engine technologies, as well as production. You can also order your very own OSR-232 today (The first 6 are for us and the US though). Price is 130% of production cost, although we are ready to accept payment in technologies or constructions.

Yes, I think a quick Sorium/Fuel levels for the major nations update would be much appreciated!

You say an order got lost, but as I've mentioned before orders don't carry over year to year; it's just too confusing figuring out what supersedes another.

If things ever come to fighting I will probably do a special "war update". As it is fleets can be reshuffled in a few days, so their positions hardly matter in year long turns.

Yes, I think a quick Sorium/Fuel levels for the major nations update would be much appreciated!

Europe has 600k fuel, and 7,750 Sorium (using 300 a year)
Japan has 6.3m fuel, and 8k Sorium (using 550 a year)
China has 15.8m fuel and 10k Sorium (using 1250 a year)
The US has 3.9m fuel and 9.7k Sorium (using 625 a year)

They don't carry from year to year? Well that'd explain something, I was under the impression that they did when you said a while back not to copy and paste from previous orders, whoops.

Perhaps the Galileo could be refitted to an updated class?

Oh, I said that because one set of orders would be "build 10 factories, then 10 mines, then a naval shipyard" or similar, and the factories and mines would finish, only for the same order to be in the next turn, leaving me unsure if they wanted 10 more factories and mines.

Basically, my request is to be specific; I'll follow what the orders are as best I can.

Right no worries then, I had assumed that also applied to ordering freighters about and such, nothing much lost anyways.

Azkul, we could. I didn't propose it because my first plan was to make a jump-capable science vessel. However, if we go for a design with a tender, we can easily refit it.

Another way would be to buy the hangar bay tech from our american friends and load gunboat-sized survey ship. A bit closer to the american way, but much more efficient, and we could put a flag bridge on the Main science ship, to give it Task Force bonus.

Very nice list! Very useful indeed  8)

I'm away from my main computer this week so I don't have access to Aurora.

Did we clarify if Commercial jump engines can jump military ships?

And if so how long would a 10,000t civvie jump engine take to research?

Why are we giving the US ships?
Also - does the EU have the technology to make troop transport ships? If not, I think some effort should be made to procure the technology to secure extra-terrestrial holdings.

Would Japan like to sell the technology for Nuclear Pulse Engines in exchange for other technologies?

It was the deal we signed: they gave us the Sorium Harvesting tech for a ship.
