In future updates can the summary info include monthly income if possible (and currently what's mine?)?
What jump drive research did China do, I'm assuming jump radius?
Also how long will it take the part of my production on labs to produce one (roughly)?
And to what level of jump drive tech are we sharing? I've just had a look through the thread and found nothing, hell it was hard just finding where we'd agreed to share the stuff (we didn't have anyone summarise it after we'd all agreed so it was in bits and pieces everywhere).

Here is the First Draft of the EU orders. Thranx, feel free to edit them or ask me questions.
Japan, we have business to do.We need something more catchy than Asteroid 81 as a name for our Mining Outpost. I suggest Dejima, named after the island were European and Japanese traders met during the Edo period.

China, would you be interested in trading technologies? We can give you better lasers and production for engines and reactors.

Also, Thranx, should we keep the Gallileo as a Space Museum?

I suppose if you want to rename it we can, I don't really care that much (I can't name for crap anyway).

More potential spies...  :-\
What's the highest rated spy team I can assemble?

Hmmm, Chinese automines don't seem to be moving off-world to the colonies, Or were those numbers not updated?

EDIT: Also, did you get rid of the post on the first page with all the ships of each nation? I can't seem to find them.

If you mean whether you're running a deficit or not, I could but it's not very useful (it fluctuates a lot). It would be better to compare your total wealth to the previous statement's.
Yeah, jump radius.
Using 50% of your current production, it takes 1.3 years to make a lab. The first is currently 25% done.
I assumed just the first level of each jump tech.

Europe doesn't have any production tech currently? And please give full orders, not just "continue x", as the point of a template is so I only have one post to look at.

I'm pretty sure you can't put a civilian jump drive on a military vessel, though admittedly I never tried.

120 skill.

I did, and they have. You only have 2 slow freighters, though, and your mines are really far away. I believe it was 4/4/2/2 last year.

And yeah, I replaced the ship summary (which was badly outdated) with the status of the human race listing.

Sorry, I edited my orders. It was really only a way to say "Keep producing more Heavy Assault/Brigade HQ."

As for thetechs, we do not have production technology YET. But we're researching them, the same way that the PRC is still researching engines.

As for Jump Drive, it depends of the engine, not if the ship is commercial or not. Civilian Jump Drive can only let pass civilian engines, military drive can jump with any engine.

Also, would the PRC want us to do some transporting for them? We can do it for you if only you can provide some fuel.

Oh! Okay I see that now. I'll have to add the civvie freighters to lend a hand!

Hopefully we can get an updated Jane's 202X at some point? :)

We actually just finished our engine tech  8)
As for contracting, I don't think it'll be necessary right just yet, we'll see how adding the civ fleet to the hauling helps this year.

EDIT: Orders for the PRC!

My impression was that only the first level of jump tech would be shared. Continued improvements in engines should be up to the individual nations.

Orders for the US!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

@ The EU: Are we good on the harvesting tech/harvesting ship trade? If so, I'll edit my orders.

@ Bremen: Could we get some confirmation on the "military ships can use commercial jump tenders" thing?

I've done some research on espionage, and given it some thought. I don't want to remove it, since it's helpful, but its not possible to defend against and the chances of it backfiring are comparatively tiny.

Right now I'm thinking I'll allow it, but with a limitation of one espionage team by each nation.

@ Bremen: Could we get some confirmation on the "military ships can use commercial jump tenders" thing?

Honestly, I have no idea, but it seems reasonable.

Well, Military ships can use civilian tender only if they use civilian engines. And yeah, we're good there. We sorely need sorium.

So my military ships with military engines would not be able to do so...crap  :(

Second question: I know that the lowest-level jump drive only allows three ships through. If the jump ship were to stay at the point but not jump, would that allow three other ships the go through the point? ((My gut instinct says no, but I could be wrong.))
Would a ten thousand-ton jump tender be enough for a carrier to jump? Or can it be smaller?

Well, AFAIK as long as the Jumpship stay on the JP any number of ships can cross. However, in the only situation where it matter (JP assault) you'll want your jumpships to join in so as to be able to do squadron jumps.

As for your carrier, the max size of a ship that can transit with a jumpship is either the jump drive rating or the jump ship size, whichever is smaller.

And no, you won't be able to use my jump drive for your carrier. You'll have to design a military JD.

I know I have to design my own  :P

Hmm...I need to figure out which exploration path I should take. My current options are

A) Design a carrier-sized jump tender, so that I can use my existing Raptors.
B) Design both a new geosurvey ship and an appropriately-sized tender.
C) Design a jump-capable geosurvey ship.

What to do, what to do...

I'd go for A). For one thing, it'll be quick. For another, you'll be able to use those tenders for your whole navy, and won't need to uild new ones. Having warships around also mean you're much less likely to loose vessels to the odd NPR.

Finally, and most important, I really like that each nation has largely different ship design. The US is using Figther for anything save cargo. The EU is using Gunboat as warship, but cling to large, Enterprise-style exploration vessels. China and Japan have less distinctive style, but I paid less attention to their ships so maybe I missed something.
