Magos Flammen. A name whispered in the Kriegers deepest halls, and darkest passageways. Naaah, I'm pulling yer leg. Mostly.
Flammen grew up a battlefield child, moving from place to place, following his father Kohlenfeuer Flammen, a devout imperial citizen, so naturally when Werfer showed promise, he was sent away to join the Admech, but his father gave him a gift before leaving. Kohlenfeuer was a fairly well off Krieger, his family owning several factories, but serving in the guard, as was his duty. He poured most of his personal finance into giving Werfer a melta pistol, which was unreliable, but the best he could afford. Flammen learned the various secrets of the Adeptus Mechanicus, and rose quickly in rank, for his innovative mind, always following rituals, even when the required reagents and such were not to hand, he would improvise. He met Ignea, and the other members of Ordos Ignis a few weeks before the night of formation, on Sterilis Petram II, where he was docked for repairs. The details are sketchy, but he woke up with a tattoo of a gear in flames, and a holy post it note on his forehead that read "Call me!" with a comms frequency for Ignea. that was around 50 Standard years ago, and ever since, he has been head of the Ordos Ignis tech upgrades, repairs, and maintenace wing. He commands the Flaming Fists, a specialist unit of Skitarii armed with powerarmour, and his own invention, Plasmatic fists. If you shape a power field correctly, it contains almost any from of energy, including imperial plasma. his own armament includes his fathers gift, and his own hand built melta pistol, and a substantial intellect. Flammen is heavily dependent on Lho, and should he run out, will slowly regress into a state of rage. His wife is Maria Flammen, a quiet girl from Ultima Segmentum, near the Tau outposts.She worked as a Xenographer, but after meeting Flammen, moved to Krieg, and had his Son, Klauss. Flammen is devoted to Maria, and worries about Klauss, in particular that he will meet the same fate as his late grandfather, skewered by a dark eldar splinter rifle. When he had the option to bring him into Ordos Ignis, he jumped on it, and has trusted Ignea with his care.
