Hrm...
There's always the option of tying a null/pariah to you.

And where are you going to get one, and how is it going to nullify the daemonhost? The entire reason behind daemonhosts is that they lose all of the traditional weaknesses of a daemon. It's a daemon embodied, not just coming through the warp.

Psyk. Out.
Pariahs.
Nulls.
Psycannons.
GREY KNIGHTS.
Extra life via switching in my ordinary DH character.
Using the Inquisitor Rulebook, causing you to be an unresponsive and docile wreck for several days due to none of the rites.
Sisters of Battle.
Priests...

...And finally, keeping a Vindicare within 1 mile of us. Or an Eversor within 30 feet.

Psyk out- goes to 1d10 plus 18 pierces armour.
Pariahs- Same as above, but with more rage because they are necrons and they can actually harm daemons.
Nulls- same as top.
Psycannons- just does 105 damage per round psyker
Grey Knights- as above
Extra life- if you can get anywhere near even thirty wounds, that still won't help you.
Using Inquisitor's Handbook- It's not a rite. The daemon has possessed me. The Daemon doesn't CARE about my body's condition, it just uses it to cause Chaos.
Sisters of Battle- less useful than GK, as they don't have dedicated anti daemon units. THEY ARE ANTI HERETIC, NOT DAEMON.
Priests- Deceive them. Turn them against you.

Vindicare- just use catch projectiles or precognitive dodge. Eversor- just fly away and let him kill you all.

Wait, are we Ordo Malleus?

Anyway, no real problem. Just kill him. They're dedicated anti psykers, not dedicated anti daemonhosts.

And the daemonhost could then outsnipe the vindicare assassin. Using a compact las pistol.

Anti-Psyker and Anti-Daemonhost shouldn't be too hard.

Also, you sure that Atomic would let you do that, on the grounds you're just doing this for TPK?

Well, considering I'm not, and I'm just highlighting the problems of having a psyker (or anyone, for that matter) getting possessed...

Well, right now, it seems like you're just doing this to get revenge for the dead Assassin.

And this constant talking of a Daemonhost who would very well end up doing TPK would just give us a reason to keep you locked in a box and only let out in the case of a particularly bad case of Hostiles.

Oh, don't worry. Daemonhost is a one in four hundred chance of happening. Unless we get another mispsyk happening, in which case it is a one in ten chance of happening.

...And now you all know why I like Eldar Psykers more than Human Psykers.

Oh, this happens to all psykers by the rules. Except for daemons.

Okay, when the hell did Dark Heresy, Deatwatch, Black Crusade, and Rogue Trader get rules for Eldar Farseers, Warlocks, and others?

Or rules the GM comes with.
I'm looking at any Tabletop Game that drops in something not covered/partly covered by the rules.
