Yeah. When you hit journeyman wizard you get to pick which arcane lore your mage uses. There are eight available but you only EVER get one spellset. It a very big decision for spellcasters as determines what you abilities and roles will be.

for example, a Bright mage uses VERY destructive fire magic and is an offensive machine with magic abilities. Whereas as Celestial mage does divination and other such things. All are very powerful, but very different.

I already thought of Siegfried as a fiery, bright-wizard kinda guy.
Maybe it was just the red colour text?... Or the way he charged in? :P

How'd the session go? I'm sorry to say that the elderly folks at the gathering decided that a three and a half hour game of rummy sounded like a fantastic idea. What did I miss?

We're going through the drakwald forest, to escape a horde of beast men. We're going back a bit to retrieve an old woman who cares for orphans, and who probably put the beast men up to the attack possibly the orphans are mutants.
