Aww, come on, can't a guy take a lazy week anymore?
Anyway. Because you want it so much: turn tomorrow.
Once pyro is here you should know you better not dreamt of a break.

I guess I've built a bit of a reputation for not letting games go too long without stuff happening.

At least I'm not too bad about it, I typically wait several days.

I dont get this, why craft anything if what you craft has no use or value to it?
Why are there no monsters to hammer your poo sculpture at or some merchant to sell your fart-in-a-jar to?

We could atleast have a hall of fame.. can you die in this roleplay?
There is a 'hall of fame' kinda thing, the Gallery. And while you can't die technically, you can get lost on a planet forever, if you manage to get lost the day the ship departs.

This game and the others were made to get away from the kill kill kill, fight fight fight, dungeon smack and slash em up, games that were everywhere.

I wanted a game that was more about creativity, having fun creating things, and seeing what you could come up with by combining or altering items. Along with a varied world aspect that you could gather materials and items from many different types of environments to fuel your creations.

The bold is a good reason why it's really fun.

You might want to check out my game(link in sig) as well while you are waiting. That goes for everyone really. I'm not sure I even have more than 2 cycle groups actively playing.

World difficulty: 35
When the Aglaia lands this time, you are on top of a mountain. Or, considering the gaping maw a few meters from the ship, a dormant or dead volcano. All around you is water, and the land between the mountain and the sea is jungle. On one beach, you see several wooden buildings, and two medieval ships are moored nearby.

Grab some magma from the volcano.
Attempt: 60 + 2
Quality: 37
Quantity: 3 (1)

You carefully descend into the volcano mouth. When you reach the layer of obsidian on top, your super-powered senses clearly pick up a small, constant rumbling, and a difference in temperature of a few degrees. This volcano might be sleeping, but it definitely ain't dead.
Now, you want magma. You can't just open this mountain up - that would make it lava. Technically the same, but semantically and magically different. So you extend a small tube of pure force into the rock. It is small enough to slip trough the pores and cracks, but it holds a great amount of power, and when it touches the surface of the magma, it starts vacuuming. The viscous stone moves trough the tube very slowly, but by the end of the day you have one liter of magma, floating in the timespace field of your quantum inventory.
+30 Gather XP
+1 Liter of Magma (I: 37)

Craft boring rocks into rock toad golem
Attempt: 2. Uh-oh
You hack away at our rocks, and puzzle them together, then cut some more rock, fit them together again, add some details...
After several hours, you have a good likeness of a rather big toad, made in stone. With a flick of your fingers, you give it life. Immediately, the eyes glow in an unhealthy green color, and the toad opens its mouth. "You, mortal! How dare you make a likeness of the Creator of All! How dare you imply that you can catch Him in such boring rock! How dare you even think of it... You shall feel my wrath!"
A bolt of lightning flashes trough the room, and when it hits you, your vision fades into white. When you wake up, a few meters away from your still smoking sandals, you are holding a note: "I guess I'll let you live this once. I hope the lightning hurt enough for you to learn from it, and it probably took some of your power too. Regards, Toad."
+1 Golemancing XP
-10 Influence
-9 Boring Rocks

WHAT.
Gather lava or obsidian.
Comic saaaaaans!
Attempt: 25 + 1
You land next to Taric on the obsidian floor, and watch in awe as he just sucks the magma out of the volcano. Trying the same, you extend a tendril of your might into the rock. However, as you touch the molten stone, the heat builds up in the tip of the tendril, and suddenly, the overload of energy backfires into your brain.
Everything goes black for a moment, and when you wake up, you drag yourself back to the ship. You need some rest.
+13 Gather XP

Gather plants.
Attempt: 37 + 3
While the rock you have landed on is completely barren, the jungle down there must have tons of useful plants. You decide to rappel down the mountain, and gather some rope, carabiners, and some other stuff. But when you prepare yourself to climb down a high cliff, you look down for a moment. And vertigo strikes.
You fall down on the ridge, and crawl away from the edge, panting. If you are to descend this cliff tomorrow, you'll need a way to control your fear.
+19 Gather XP

Collect gemstones.
Attempt: 28 + 3
You scour the mountainside for the familiar sparkle of surfaced gems. You climb over and around rocks and ridges, and go around the whole mountain in a wide circle, but alas, when you are back at the Aglaia, you didn't see a single hint of precious stone.
+14 Gather XP

Spoiler: Players (click to show/hide)

It would seem the random gods still aren't particularly happy... A volunteer to sacrifice?

Buy all Lapis Lazuli and one (1) alien branch.
Sacrifice one (1) Alien branch to the random number gods.

Gather lava, magma, or obsidian.

We are semigods. Teleport down the ridge, and gather plants once more.
