I vote for HP/MP increase; no need to complicate things with a class system on top of our races. ^^ Let's keep it simple, shall we? :3

Bradley blinked as his blindfold was suddenly gone. His confidence shattered. He flew away to the side, hoping the King would stay focused on red and Oomph, and cast his lightning spell on the plant's back a second time.

Yeah, it's a neat idea but I wasn't really looking forward to managing a class system. I probably do race/class in my next RTD.

This is assuming I ever want to do an RTD after this again.

I'm going to go ahead and warn you guys: if the rolls line up your way (this is likely) there will be a much longer flash. After that this will temporarily turn into something entirely different, starting with, that's right, a flash. And then we won't see a flash again for a while.

Some point during all this I will receive my new computer and we'll experience some RTD delay as I go on a gaming binge.

Filled with fiery rage at the sight of your dead friend and how you couldn't bring him back, you lash out in anger at the King! He killed Taric! It's his fault! The King is clearly not prepared for such a close-range attack on his weak point! He takes 4 damage and is unable to use active abilities next turn!

Wasn't he supposed to be stunned and unable to use his Wall of Shadow?

(Yes, I'm enjoying following this one.)

1) No, the King succeeded his preroll on Oomph's attack. So he wasn't stunned.
2) Regardless of the succeeded preroll, Oomph got a 6 on a maneuver that didn't have an explicitly defined natural 6 effect (a regular attack, in this case) so instead the King got a situational penalty.

Glad you're enjoying it, though! I sure am.

Update on the turn: I've got some of the text done, but only a little of the Flash done. My biggest problem is I can't figure out what would sound good in this situation (no spoilers on what the situation is!) that I could actually compose.

Also lots and lots of pictures.

Home Run: Oomph can deflect or reflect projectile attacks aimed at him when he wields a blunt weapon-or get hit the face.


While I don't think we can go into an official class system, how can we earn new skills? Just get the three sixes when rolling right...

Yeah, there's that (which has currently made Red a little overpowered.) But the primary way to earn new skills is getting new items. And the best way to earn new items - especially ones fitting to your character - is to use your turn to search for them...

...and use the Goomba's special ability, which I've so far not updated the race list with. I think I'll try to get to that now. Again. (Hint: Bradley's Anvil does the same thing as the ability, but for free and only once.)

If you roll at least a 4 and your attacker rolls a 3 or less on their preroll you're immune to most damage :(

But hey, you worked for it.

EDIT: Finally, finally, FINALLY updated the Races list. Most races should be pretty balanced, and viable options now, if a little gimmicky. Bob-ombs are still a little bit underpowered.
