Turn IntroTaric finds himself knee-deep at what is either a trap, a treasure, or both. How will he escape?
Ochita nearly walks into a horrible black mess, and attempts to fight it.
Bradley ends up taking one too many wrong turns while attempting to get back to his friends.
Lastly, Red, Oomph and Fuzz are reunited... sort of.

Turn ResultsTaric: Get out of there!You head for the way you came in. However, you bump into some sort of invisible wall! You run your hands over it. It's some kind of magical forcefield -- a beehive barrier. Looking back to the spear, you notice the numbers on the ground have all turned from 3 to 2. It's some kind of countdown. You're in a trap! You start banging on the barrier rapidly, but to no avail.
Red: Wait it out.You wait on the ledge, terrified of falling. Your hands and legs start shaking, and your natural non-winged fear of heights kicks in. You know your friends will help you out, but it's still scary. You do your best to stay on the ledge...
...but a section of it collapses. The section you were sitting on! You go plummeting several dozen feet in what feels like two feet a second. You may be a koopa, but there's no helping you now. You're done for. Your shell will be broken, and you'll be dead!
Saying your prayers, you feel a warm light around you. Is it Bronzelight, trying to comfort you? No. It's magic -- raw, unbridled, uncontrolled magic, attempting to save your life. You feel your spine rearranging itself very painfully. Then, all of the sudden...
...you find that you have become a Koopa Paratroopa.
Ochita: Fireball! At the darkness.You wave your arms and say the magic words (but not really, as your fireball is not strictly magical), and then
launch a fireball at the pitch black darkness. As you prepare to take a closer look inside, you find that not only has your fireball fizzled out before you could throw it, but the darkness has also swallowed the tiny flame you did produce completely! Clearly, it's not any regular sort of darkness. It's almost as if it's erased part of the area from existence itself.
Bradley: TURN BACK.You head back towards the area near the pipe where you friends were last at. You hope they haven't moved! It takes you a minute or so to float back, screaming and wailing into the artificial night.
And yet, you end up at the right place.And then you see it. Floating just above the brick floor, instead of your friends, you find the most horrible abomination you've ever seen. It's like some sort of giant, pitch-black hound, with waving tendrils of darkness.
It walks towards you, growling menacingly.Oomph: Drink from the fountain.This is just too much. Red? Growing wings? You need to have a drink, so you head over to the bizarrely placed fountain and lap up a little water.
BLECH! It tastes disgusting, like pickled mud! You lose 2 MP. You tell Fuzz and Red not to try it.
Fuzz: Look to the left and right.Though you're now teamed up with Red, you're still missing Bradley. What's his problem with you, anyway? You look to the left and right, but can't see much for the darness. So you scout out a bit both ways.
To the left (west?) is a hallway with grand architecture. It looks like it's probably empty. You can't tell where it leads. To the east is a dead end with some coins floating in the air.
Turn OutroEverything changes. Even people. Thus was Red's discovery. As for the rest of the gang, their underground and aboveground scouting efforts have led them into clearly dangerous territory. Will they weasel their way out and flee, or will they figure out how to progress, and if they can at all?
