ResultsOomph: Attack the one named Mary!You take a running strike at Mary, but she dodges to the side. You find yourself still running, and crash into the ground, dazed! Your last strike was a lucky one. You'll have to do better than this, though. Mary cackles somewhat and makes a coy smirk as she watched you fall face first into the ground.[/abbr]
Fuzz: Take a running jump straight to Kyle's head.Finding yourself encompassed by a sense of speed, you take a long, running stride, much like that blue one Mario and Luigi always spite, and jump into the air. You press your maul down as you fly forward, and hit with it KTG Kyle right in the center of his head. You're propelled forward by the maul-bounce off of Kyle, but land safely on the grass ahead. Looking back, you see Kyle struggling to hold on to life, but then bursting into air particles. He seems to be dead, or at least gone. What exactly did you just do?
Koopa Troop Goomba Mary: Flame on!"No!" shouts KTG Mary. She looks toward her comrade with true, genuine horror, and then looks back at the man who killed him.
"I knew we couldn't trust the humans," she said. "I always knew it, even during the Old War, when Goombas were a peaceful race. But, when push comes to shove, all a human wants to do is STOMP all over us! Take this, one named Fuzz! FIRE!"
She kicks the air, but what's really being kicked up is a flame. A blast of flame comes into existence just a few inches away from scalding him. Fortunately, it misses completely. KTG Mary collapses on the ground, possibly crying.
Bradley: cloak the area in darkness.You fill the path with artificial darkness, reversing the rolls. Shy as you may be, you are now the hunter, and everyone else is the hunted. In the darkness, the game is on, but you're the host.
You and Red are the only ones now able to see clearly.Red: Take Mary out with a slash.You slash at something you assume to be Mary with your sword, but you hesitate, and it seems to only cause a cut. You hear a whimper. Bronzelight's lights are a little bit more unwieldy in practice that you believed Fortunately, you didn't attack a teammate or anything!
Ochita: Go for... the nearest one!Determined not to be affected by the darkness now working in the favor of other teammates, you run straight to the spot you remember KTG Mary last being. You saw Kyle die, otherwise you would have still gone for him! In the darkness, you make a stab with your might lance. You feel a funny shaped being get knocked away by it, probably wounded. You hope it wasn't a teammate, but you're pretty sure it wasn't.Taric: Attack Mary! Think of being used as a bowling ball.Unaffected by the darkness due to memorization and adrenaline, you run forward, and imagine yourself being a bowling ball knocking over Goomba pins! You run so fast that your lance goes straight through something, which promptly bursts into nothing around its bronze pole. You don't know what happened quite yet.
Turn outroThe darkness clears after about half a minute, and Kyle and Mary are nowhere to be seen. Blood lies on the ground and on spears and mauls, and you can feel it on your hands, even if you can't see it. A few of you feel a little sick because of not being used to killing. But, at the same time, it's what you had to do... right? Kill or be killed. Yeah.
The sun is nearly over the top of the sky now, and the Forest is visible in the distance. You suppose that getting there before dark will not be a problem. You probably underestimated how much time you'd have before it got really dark. Nevertheless, only one way to go now, except for the obvious (back and off-trail, both of which you can travel to if you want. There's no hurry, surely, but the King wouldn't be happy to see you in town at least without any information). Where you go now is up to you.
