Auoting is pretty lame, when we have people on the waiting list, ready to play.

Thats my opinion, anyway.

Yeah. Anyway I'll see if Darvi gets in here in the next hour or so but if not use Fuzzy's command. Then get started on the FIFTH UPDATE FOR THE DAY OH YES.

Turn 6

Turn intro

Location: Goomba Path - Northwest Split
Time: Afternoon
Weather: Bearable
Light: Cloud cover

Will you be able to defeat the incredibly strong Koopa Troop? Only time will tell!

Roll for initiative

Results

Koopa Troop Red: Unleash the fury of Waverider.

"This is it!" yells KT Red.

KT Red raises his wavy blue sword high in the sky, yells out something else nonsensical, then with both hands, presses it blade-first into the ground. A gargantuan wave seems to appear out of nowhere, sweeping across the makeshift battlefield, and leaving everyone it hits helpless in its wake. It crashes into six people:

Ochita, preparing a power attack, gets cut short, dazed and knocked back.
Fuzz, attempting to run straight towards Blue for another attack, gets swiped by the wave, and stunned.
Taric, attempting to help Fuzz out by stabbing, is knocked into the air before crashing onto the ground.
Bradley, attempting another Lightning spell, finsd himself floating sideways suddenly.
KT Blue, who was positive his teammate wouldn't let him down, gets caught in the wave due to being on the ground, helpless.
Lastly, Red, before hiding in his shell, is knocked back several feet, but otherwise standing tall.

The devastating wave disappears into nothing after all this. KT Red is clearly smirking.

Oomph: cast Heal I on Red.

Being the only one somehow not hit by the Wave of Terror, you continue with your original plan to heal Red the teammate. You speak a few magic words, and floating Red Mushroom insignia surround Red. He looks restored, and not stunned at all! This action cost you one MP.

Red: Hide in your shell.

Overcome by fright at all the happenings, and not realizing that you now have the strength to face another enemy, you hide in your shell for the turn. Fortunately, nothing tried to attack you after that. On retrospect, that might have been a waste of action.

Turn outro

KT Red and KT Blue get up on their feet, with their hands pressed to the ground. KT Red's shades are chipped, and KT Blue's wing is clipped. They're clearly frustrating, but trying not to show it.

"We should get out of here," said KT Blue, gritting his teeth. "These twerps are tougher than they look. If you want to have a fight, best to be sure you've already won when it started, right?"

KT Red nodded. "Yeah. We don't have to whole crew with us. You punks listen up, we've got reinforcements in two senses. One, the whole Koopa Troop is incredibly powerful together. You're no match against all four leaders!"

"Yes. Plus, we've got a few smaller reinforcements to hold you off while we prepare," said KT Blue, finishing his cohort's sentence.

Two goombas, one male and one female, each wearing Goomba armor with a Koopa Troop symbol on it, come into view. They're grinning a devilish grin.

"I'm Koopa Troop Goomba Kyle," said the angry-looking one.

"And I'm Koopa Troop Goomba Mary," said the sinister-looking one. "We're here to finish you off!"



On that note, the Koopa Troop leaders flew off to the northeast. You could have sworn you heard them say "See ya next time, punks!"

The turn is over, so you don't have to roleplay being stunned if you don't want :P You recover automatically inbetween turns, except for lasting status effects.

Bradley cloaked the area in darkness. Being caught in the wave like that was humiliating! He didn't want anyone to see him!

While waiting on Bdthemag, I got a question. Yeah yeah the RTD's great so far, but what do you guys think of the system itself? I mean obviously right now it's designed for Paper Mario levels of damage, but I'm planning to hopefully scale that up as it goes on. And if I ran another RTD after this one would you prefer something like this in terms of battle system, something more oriented a little less toward combat, something a little more high powered or something else entirely?
