Well, not really. There's probably some tension in the group, even if you haven't noticed it yourself. That's how it always is with new adventuring parties. And this isn't even an adventuring party. No, you and five others are part of a special Rescue Squad -- rescue the captured knights and princess, and spare nothing for those who get in the way. It's up to you to work together to complete the mission. But are you up to it? If you weren't, you probably wouldn't have been specifically chosen and assembled by the King. For some reason, he's entrusting you lot with one of the highest duties.
You've just left the castle. You're in a pleasant market square. It's not crowded, but there's certainly people coming and going. The ground is stone, tiled beige and square, and the shops don't rise awful far off the ground. You're left with no equipment but the clothes on your body... but you've been given 500 gold each. It'll buy you what you need.
Your first mission is not to head to Bowser's Keep. In fact, Bowser's Keep has moved, so no one in the Kingdom knows where it is. Your first mission is to head on the path to the Forest of Pirahna Plants, where you'll find King Piranha. Hopefully, he will guide you in the right direction.
You can only visit one shop per turn, but otherwise it is a free action. You can buy multiple things in one turn, but only from the shop you're at. You have three turns until the guards escort you out, onto adventure!
