Turn 4

Turn intro

Location: Goomba Path - Northwest Split
Time: Noon
Weather: Decently cool
Light: Bright

You've headed off northwest, hoping to confront King Piranha and get some information. You figure as long as it's not the King of the Koopas, a King can't be so bad. Maybe he'll even spot you a little help! You can at least hope.

Results

Taric, Bradley, Ochita, Red, Fuzz: Head northwest along the path.

You head along the path northwest. The sun seems to grow brighter with every step, but that could just be your imagination. You could swear you see something up ahead... is it a bunch of shadows? No... they're moving. You stop dead in your tracks once you realize what it is.

Oomph: Bind spellbook.

The slice to your soul takes you by surprise. However, you end up feeling overcome with power. You probably figured at one point you had to be "good" to use Light magic. Your newfound knowledge reveals to you that while you are a hero-in-the-making, that's not necessarily true. You learn Heal I.

You catch up with your friends only to see the same thing they did.

Turn outro

Location: Goomba Path - Northwest Midway
Time: Noon
Weather: Cool enough for a fight
Light: Less intense

You all stop up ahead to see one thing you were not expecting so early: bandits. A red Koopa and a blue Koopa, both wearing unrealisticaly stylish shades, and wearing somewhat light armor that signifies them as part of a notorious bandit group, the Koopa Troop. You take a step back.

As you do, the red one takes a step forward, and presses his foot down hard. He points his blue sword at you, and you see his wings spread quickly.

"Hey, punks! We had word you were coming!" says the red-shelled one.

Word from who? There's no telling. You're all driven by a mild feeling of nervousness. Some of you start shaking.

"No need, Red. We have backup, remember?" says the blue one, arms crossed. He spreads his wings tpo, and his fancy bandana blows in the drift caused by the action.

"Yeah, there is. I can't stand these heroes. The worst part is, we didn't even stand a chance at those first two! But now, with them locked up, we've got our chance, right here. Stand your air, Blue. This is what we've been waiting for. I'm Koopa Troop Red, and that's Koopa Troop Blue. If you're unlucky enough to satisfy us, those are the last words you'll ever hear!"

The koopas take flight. It's as if they glow with power. You guess that there's no helping it now!



Please refer to the brief battle command tutorial in the pop up display. The next turn will function as an intro to battling.

I believe I get a brofist then since I played it at a friend's house when he rented it years back. :3

Bradley floated behind Koopa Troop Blue, not wanting to look him in the eye as he did something so bold as attack him, and cast Lightning I on him.

I'm going to let you guys say "front" this turn, but later on you're going to have to leave that to me. Normally, outside of specific situations where it's explicitly defined based on previous actions and initiative during the turn (which is some of the time), I just roll a hidden roll (all hidden rolls are 1d8 and 1-2 is a failure, BTW) when, say, attacking a Koopa, or a Boo casts a spell, or so on.
