Ooomph scowled at the lack of footballs and football related equpment. He couldn't tackle anyone with this stuff!

Backtrack, and buy a bronze shortsword. Mark where I found the sports equipment shop on the shop list.

Also I still have 400 gold. Also, it seems as if everyone has a bonus to damage, even if they have the cheap stuff.

I guess I'll look around for free stuff now.

Oh yes thank you.

Anyway, just fixed up some abilities and stuff, just now.

Also I still have 400 gold.

I guess I'll look around for free stuff now.

*facepalm* fixing, hold on.

Thanks guys. This is my first "major" RTD, I'm going to make some slipups.

Clearly, this means only one thing: I'm going to have to throw a bunch of tough enemy groups at you guys.

Oh, and BOO doesn't have a damage bonus :P

Mostly, the damage bonuses come from the fact that there's three koopas, who get a mildly subpar active and a very situational passive, in addition to a damage bonus.

"Th-thank you!" Bradley said, immediately flying out of the shop with his weapon. It looked like some of the others making the journey were waiting as well, and he floated near them. He was too shy to talk, though, so instead he decided to bind the spellbook now.

Continue waiting for the others to finish with their shopping.
I could afford some copper armor now... But I think I'll save my coins for something better.

Now we wait for Bdthemag, and then Turn 3, ho!

EDIT: Also I should note that I'm going to introduce initiative in the first battle, to keep it manageable and interesting. Outside of battle, the order of turns is top-down from the player list (starting with Taric, ending with Fuzz).

Turn 3

Intro

Location: Mushroom Kingdom - Market Square
Time: Morning
Weather: Cool
Light: Plenty

The air gets slightly warmer as most of the Heroes approach the town's gate. It's almost like an indication of what a heated journey you're likely to have. Your first mission is to head to the Forest of Piranha Plants, and it should take you 'till the end of the afternoon to reach it without any interruptions. Hopefully, nothing will go wrong!

Results

Taric: Head to the gate early.

You head to the town gate, where the guards are waiting for you. They look a little surprised. It's almost as if they were expected to have to force every one of you to leave! Beyond the mighty Bob-omb-iron gates lies a path that splits in the distance, surrounded by a flat-ish grassy field. You can make out mountains in the distance beyond that.

Bradley: Bind spellbook.

You concentrate on the spellbook, and watch as a slice of light leads out from it and into your soul. The spellbook is bound! This will probably come in handy later on. Feeling the spells bound to your soul, it's almost as if the magic is now innate. You have learned to cast the active spells Fire I, Ice I and Lightning I.

After binding, you notice a guard was waiting on you. Apparently, the process freaked him out a bit. Instead of touching you, he motions you to come to the gate with him. You do so, and find your friend Taric, toting his spear, at the gate.

Ochita: Scour for free stuff.

You're not sure where to look for free stuff, so as a last-ditch effort you search through a trash heap. You find nothing but old food and worn, unwearable shoes. What a shame! You decide not to take any of it. You should probably be heading to the gate now.

Speaking of which, a guard comes your way, grabs you by the arm and leads you off to the gate, where you find Bradley and Taric waiting for you.

Red: Go to the gate and wait for the others.

You head to the gate. You were planning on waiting on the others there, positive you'd be be first. However, it turns out that Ochita, Taric and Bradley were already there! You all deem it necessary to wait for the guards to deliver the last two, or for them to get here themselves.

Oomph: Buy a bronze shortsword.

Making a last minute trip to the weapon shop, you demand a bronze shortsword -- quickly, before the guard gets here! He hands you the sword, and you hold it up. The Toad looks at you funny, seeing as you're a Green Koopa. You get an idea of why he's doing that. But hey, you were in a rush! Why worry about it? Anyway, you're out of money now.

A guard somehow, some way, finds you in the store and escorts you to the gate. You find most of your friends there.

Fuzz: Wait for the others.

You continue waiting for the others in Market Square, only remembering that you're supposed to wait at the gate instead when a guard comes up to take you there. You end up at the gate in no time (Mushroom Kingdom's Market is populous, but not extremely large). Waiting there for you are all your comrades. You make sure you've got everything you need, and exit through the gates!

End prologue

Thus set out the Mushroom Heroes
To defeat their Koopa foes
To free the knights and Princess Peach
To beat the King and minions each

Location: Mushroom Kingdom - Market Square
Time: Morning
Weather: Cool
Light: Plenty

You all find yourselves at a crossroads. To the northeast, the dirt path you've been walking on for not very long at all leads into the horizon. At the northwest crossing, the path leads off to the Forest of Piranha Plants, based on the sign placed between the spot where the paths seperate. You have no idea why there would only be two paths. Surely there are more places to visit than that? Regardless, you know where you must go. So the question is: what will you do?

Teleport into that world and teach Bradley how to cast Ice IX

Error: Ice IX doesn't come out until the Spellstation is invented by Spony. For now, you'll have to deal with Ice I for the Magetendo, and the localized versions of Ice II and Ice III on the Ultra Magetendo by Ninmagic.
