Shade starts looking on the Magma net for potential sostenitors...oh, yes!.
he starts digging some adamantium, and gold, then reaches the bank.
After changing everything to cash, and buying a limousine, with a driver named Alfred, he proceeds to change his appearance to that of a lovely old lady.
He then reaches the front of the house, and makes alfred knock at the door, makes him open the door, and then he enters..."oh my my, is Dr Fniff here?" i ask in a squeaky voice. While alfred follows up.

“Well,” he said. “We’re in the Forgotten hunting grounds I take it. Your screams just woke them up early. Congratulations, Lyara.”
“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.
“There, I did something. I clapped. I like clapping,” he said. -The Investigator And The Case Of The Missing Brain.

Furtuka runs off to the local maximum security prison disguises himself as the local executioner and gets some souls for Shade. "Here I'll give you these if you go and find the subbasement passageway to the my little pony universe"

(The subbasement doesn't work like that. It's made out of the happy memories of mages with the malice of one, it isn't a dimensional portal.)

(( *sigh* how about this your eldricht blob is the upper subbasement and the dimensional labyrinth is the lower subbasement caused by the residual magical energy forcing the subbasement to expand itself through whatever means possible resulting in it creating the vortex and dragging various locations throughout TimE and space into itself. And anyway shade has demonstrated the ability to open up inter dimensional portals in the past. The gun blade adventure is page 37 to 41))

(... Okay, that was interesting in a very cool way. But the subbasement does not want some innocent, nice humans fiddling around with it's portals. It won't like you doing in the least.)

Something stirred inside the subbasement. In the center of the maze, there was no minotaur and instead there was a creature that bended space and time with a thought. No-one had a name for it. Creatures like this have names. This one didn't.  It realizes the humans were planning something. This wasn't your usual expedition, they...they wanted to abuse it's abilities with... a demon. Ugly things, barely even sentient in the beast's handbook. To do what? The beast had no idea. But it would not stop at anything to kill them before they even try anything.

Last time on Keeping Up With The Bay12

Backstory was discussed and got tangled up due to plotholes

  Furtuka discovered a secret library.

Fniff got fused with a Pony

Furtuka and Bd worked together to unfuse him

Furtuka and Shade are now trying to find a way to get Rainbow Dash back to her home

Did I mention it was a Secret library?

And the Landlord is still missing. The tenants are giving up any hope of him ever appearing again

Fniff walks over and gets it, but not before sorting through the mail.

"Bill, bill, junk, mysterious package which may contain anthrax, junk, junk, letter to Furtuka from SCP Foundation, junk junk, newspaper (Oh, they finally coped on Newsmuffin disappearing), letter to me from mad scientist commission, junk junk, bill, junk, letter from Bd's mother. Hmm." Fniff shouts up to the apartments.

"Who here is expecting a package? Try not to open it if you don't like bio-terrorism, though, this smells of that!"

Fniff goes to Rainbow Dash's apartment in the basement, 2A.

"Hey, Rainbow Dash, are you going to get up? It's like 3." Fniff says. Some mumbling emanates from the room.

"Rainbow Dash?" Fniff pokes his head in. Rainbow Dash seems to be buried under a duvet. "For such an athletic Pegasus, you'd expect a little bit of activity?"

Dash lifts her head.

"What time?" She asks.

"Three." Fniff says, frowning.

"Holy! Whoa, I missed the entire morning! I didn't even know I could do that!" Dash suddenly speeds into action, trying to get prepared as fast as possible.

"What's the rush?" Fniff asks.

"Well, I just slept in, so I have to go now!" Dash rushes out the door, leaving Fniff confused.

"Do what?" Fniff asks, dizzy at Rainbow's speed.

Furtuka is in his room. In front of him is How to Summon Various Dangerous Mythical Creatures for Dummies and a magical circle containing a pincushion, the woodchip, some fresh wheat, a lump of coal, a vial of poison, and a rats tail all arranged in a hexagon.
