Furtuka looks closely at the wall and notices that the building style seems to have changed from what it was earlier. He runs over to another room and finds that the building style and material has changed yet again!

Many of the walls are smooth. More walking. Little buildings begin to show up, many with tools inside.

Furtuka begins to pay attention to all the various labels in each of the rooms he finds that many of them are from wildly different time periods and in many different languages. He even finds one that claims to be from the future. He starts to formulate a theory in his head

"I think...   I think that the subbasement might be pulling in various rooms out of space and time to make up the labyrinth"

"I thought this place looked like my dwarf fortress! Wait, that also means goblins! And that gunblade off of final fantasy."     *drool*

Stumbling along, jim wipes his drool away. Through a doorway a rocky outside terrain can be seen.    "There."

A small walk confirms that this is indeed the final fantasy universe. "great! Now we just need to find a shop! How much gold do you have?"

removing his headphones from his ears he goes to the door, opens and reads the note.
"oh...subbasement quest!!! i'm coming!".
Shade then recloses carefully the door and exclaims to the magma sea:
"OPEN UP, SESAME!" and while the magma swirls he jumps in the middle of it, appearing precisely where he wanted to: next to a naked Yuna.
"sorry babe, gotta go. it'll be for another time"
"wait Ifrit! you're too hot to leave!"
"i said sorry!" *running out of there, with the FF7 flying flame attack, he reaches in a second the others.
"HEY THERE!" transforming back to Shade human form.
"nice to stretch around, huh?! so...quest? exp? shall we grind a level up?"

“Well,” he said. “We’re in the Forgotten hunting grounds I take it. Your screams just woke them up early. Congratulations, Lyara.”
“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.
“There, I did something. I clapped. I like clapping,” he said. -The Investigator And The Case Of The Missing Brain.
